I was thinking, and the last thing i want to happen is for IdrA to leave e-sports. Now I know that money is not the only factor in his decision, and I know he hasn't talked at all about what he plans to do but I would like to set up an esports fund for IdrA. It would be based solely upon donations from his fans for the sole purpose of easing his transition and keeping him in the scene. If anyone would like to do so lets put it together! Idra: fuck the fans, fuck the game, I hate everything Fans: lets see if we can find another way to directly give idra our money I'm starting to see the problem here

If you don't want to support him that's fine, I don't know what your doing in the IdrA Fanclub then but that's not my business. Even if I was the only person left who wanted to support IdrA I would do everything I could to keep him in Starcraft 2. He hasn't always been the most respectful, mainly when he is being poked and prodded by people, but I think if you expect him to be respectful you should at least not bm him.

Im pretty certain Greg loves his fans, but if you pay attention to his stream chat, not everyone who watches is a fan... they turn up for rage quits, BM and profanities! He knows this and he plays on it, hence the comment. And for further clarification, there's a quote from Greg at the very top of this threat about his love of his fans. On a side note, I know you read this Greg so I just want to say a massive thank you for being the man that got me into starcraft and esports in general. I'll always appreciate your bluntness and willingness to call things as you see them, even when you're wrong! Whatever you now choose to do, I wish you the best of luck (although I still crave for a return to the days where you had dominating runs in major tournies!) and always remember that despite the vocal criticism, you've truly given many of us some of our greatest sporting memories... hell, you were the guy that got my girlfriend into starcraft!! Anyway, thanks for everything Greg, if you carry on playing, I'll still be here cheering you on! If you don't, I know you'll become a success wherever you land. Love ya man!

It'll be really difficult for him to return to become competitive at the highest levels, but he could land casting gigs relatively easily. Just my two cents He was a good analyst every time I heard him, NASL, IEM, HSC, EGMC. He's kinda like InControl, just less funny, but he does show quite a bit of emotion on casts. Or maybe he'll go back to BW? He's always said that he liked BW a lot better, it just wasn't nearly as profitable for him as SC2.

Maybe as a hobby, but he needs to start thinking about a long-term career. BW sadly does not provide that anymore.
