Honnestly, like I don't belive in Stephano's future life in medicine, I've hard time to imagine Idra as a car seller, an insurance provider, a gold prostector or a trader in Wall Street.

As far as I remember, IdrA was offered a scholarship to study theoretical physics, so I doubt he would be interested in any of the careers you listed.

Idra is always mad and miserable because 1) he thinks he made the wrong choice, and 2) that knowledge makes him feel entitled to the success he had in his early SC career. When he fails, 1 is reinforced and the cycle deepens. Luckily for him, his "unique" position has managed to turn even failure into success. He just can't realize it; or, rather, he does realize it, and so he makes sure the cycle continues.

Hehe... That's hilarious.
As for IdrA hasn't shown anything within a year, you forget he beat Roro and Stephano and narrowly lost to Rain. That's an age ago in esports time but actually only 6 months ago. Wait until things start clicking again. I think the strategies are very much in flux at the moment which is exactly when IdrA suffers the most.

Man I hope IdrA gets it back together, I want my grack back

Yeah but this was shortly after Rain and RorO had switched to SC2, and it was WoL. He still beats Stephano on ladder when I see them play, but Stephano is notorious for having bad ZvZ, and I think it is Idra's strongest MU. Also, he has issues vs Terran and refuses to play the stronger ones on ladder, and has to play Polt in the 1st round of WCS America. His saving grace may be ZvZ but the odds of him getting through Revival, and Gosuuser (who has already said IdrA's presence in the group makes him more confident) the chances for Idra in the tournament he was luckily invited to, does not look good.

Roro was kicking everyones ass even at that point.
Idra is fine, he doesn't have any results as of late because he hasn't even played in anyhing. It was obvious he was planning for wsc instead.
The few time he has played he has performed what was said above. Exceptions are vs Minigun, and damn that was hots release abuse so hard.

Even then, Roro's ZvZ was considered far superior to Idra, and most zergs even in Korea, and Rain was pretty much considered top3 protoss in the world, no? Discrediting a 2-0 against Roro simply because he had not played SC2 for even a full year, when it's clear that he was amongst the notable ZvZ players already is silly imo.
The Rain series Idra pretty much got destroyed though, he played sloppy and his scouting and map vision was non existant in one of the games, I remember.
I think Idra's ZvZ is completely fine right now, probably better than most playing on NA. His ZvT seems to struggle, at least partially, because of his quite horrendous creep spread, and pooling of minerals, which I can only attribute to the fact that his injects seems to be kinda fucking bad in many games, but this might just be because of him commentating and not focusing a 100%. Either way, he loses a lot of ZvTs with lots of minerals in the bank, and no larvae. That said, his ZvT seems to be fine decision making wise, so his ZvT can at least be improved in some aspects.
His ZvP though... I mean, he himself has said that he has no clue on how to play a consistent strong macro style vs P, so his ZvP is kinda abysmal as soon as he plays some of the better protoss I think.
That's my thoughts at least, but I haven't paid much attention to his stream lately so his play might have changed, for better or worse.
The point someone made earlier about it being a good thing that Idra commentates when he plays, I think that's fucking silly. Of course, he should think about the future, but his future as a competitor is still shining pretty brightly. Some of you act as if he has never been pissed off and angry about everything SC2 related before. It's been worse, a lot worse. and the fact that he still has some many dedicated fans means that he can pretty much keep playing poorly for a while without major consequences, and when, on top of that, he still wants to compete, there is no absolutely no reason for him to commentate while laddering for his future's sake. He is a competitor, and his streamed practice seems to be the only practice he gets, usually, so imo he should use that as effective as possible, and not distract himself with commentary. The commentary really has only brought more trolls and retarded people, more drama, and more venting from him. If you look away from the slight increase in viewers, at least.
I thoroughly enjoy his stream a lot more when he does not commentate, and I'd much rather have commentary as a special thing once a week or something like that, especially now, before one of the first, and most important leagues/tournaments he's going to play in this year

He does better in offline tournaments than online. He doesnt play very well in online tournaments usually, but this is "serious" tournament so maybe he will play better than usually.
