Why do you think your opinion has any weight around here?

Should we?
The want is really there, but I don't think we'd be able to persuade him. I don't think we should persuade him either
Lebenwrustbrot and sedzz. Do u somehow think you are somehow "better members" of this fanclub than allwars is. He has right to say his opinon as anyone else here. Stop being so aggressive towards others, especially when he said nothing insulting.
"Until the very very top, in almost anything, all that matters is how much work you put in. The only problem is most people can't work hard, even at things they do enjoy, much less things they don't have a real passion for."-IdrA
Never doubted the work ethic of Greg, still don't... but if this is still applicable to him, he needs to go to Korea :/

in a way you could say they are "better members" since they are not bringing negativity and hate into the fan club
theres nothing wrong with voicing your opinion, as long as you voice it an appropiate places
would be like going into a church and sputing anti-religious statements then when people complain say "im jsut stating my opinion"
Perhaps someone could call in to Inside the Game tonight and ask if it's definite or not, and how IdrA feels about competing in tournaments by only practicing on NA? I'm not awake at the time though =(

would be a good idea, i at least want to hear his reasons for not going

I think that he just tried to say "PPPLZZ GO TO KOREA I LOVE YOU" in his own special way. He was probably just frustrated (arent we all?)
And i agree that someone should ask him in ITG today, i was hoping it right when i saw itg happens today.
This sucks He constantly complains how bad the people he plays on NA are, but when he has an opportunity to go to Korea and (afaik) work with coach Park, he says he doesn't want to... I don't know what to make of this. As a long-time IdrA fan, I can't help but be a little disappointed by his decision

Probably not the best idea to clog up the fan club with posts urging him to go. I'm sure he knows the overwhelming majority of his fans would want to see him in Korea competing in Proleague and practicing under Coach Park. If the decision were that simple then I'm sure he would be headed there with Ben. I must say though some of my fondest memories of him streaming where from when he was in Korea with HuK training with Slayers T_T.
At the minimum, I hope that Blizzard is able to improve global play and/or that the Lair's ping to Korea improves so that he can at least ladder on the Korean server and keep up with the Korean meta-game.

As much as I'd like to see him go to Korea to train under coach Park, the answer is no. We should not ask him to go to Korea while he has a nice setup in NA with friends and family around. Besides wanting what's best for IdrA, without the inner drive no-one can make that grueling Korean progamer job work. So, if IdrA wants to go, I'm wholeheartedly for it. But if he doesn't want to, I'm fine with that too.
Wow that sucks. I was really hoping he'd go over and at least give it a try. It could very likely improve his play if the new coach gets things under control. Hopefully he wasn't dissuaded from comments about the previous coach and that the EG-TL house didn't seem to be a very good environment. I don't remember hearing what he said about his previous stints in Korea, but did he say if he liked/disliked it or was he just indifferent? I think ProLeague would really like him to come over, too, because it would probably really help their stream numbers in the foreign audience, which have kind of taken a hit at the end of WoL. Hopefully he changes his mind but no one should force him into it if it's not what he wants to do. We've seen from some other players that being forced to go somewhere and being miserable directly affects their play in a negative manner.
