Idra, occasionally I see your ladder opponents say nice things at the end of the game like "gg wp; gl in 2013" etc. Do you enjoy the kind words, or would you rather they just get out asap so you can continue practicing? Have you developed any friendly relationships with non-pro's on the ladder?

idras stream hir nr 12k again last night. fantastic achievement. Get in the wins Greg! Will he be getting involved with this EGTL coach park training regime, cos i feel this team need it, they seem to be all over the place with results and dont really come across a a strong team like the others, which is a shame really as EG have a solid team with idra, thorzain, stephano, suppy and demuslim. Looks like idra doesnt want to go to Korea. Well i hope he enjoys playing against guys like Fuzer on NA and not improving at all. Since he cant play on korean ladder from EG house, i really doubt we are gonna see him winning anything this year, I really hoped he would have gone to korea and get some decent training there.

That is the only tournament that deserves your attention (imo of course). You were the first foreigner over in Korea in BW days, you need to go back and show them the new game

IdrA please go to korea for proleague, with your experience in a proleague team in Brood war I think that it would help you and your team, the other positive being that you dont have to play against idiots like Fuzer.

Damn, I thought Coach Park + Korean practice partners could really help him improve his play. Watching him play in proleague would just be a bonus on top of that. He must have an important reason for staying in the US.

If it is true it's the most disappointing thing that idra has done me ever. I'll just wait to see how he performs in his next tournament, if he plays badly, im think im done with his stream and everything. To play badly and without any thought of progressing, better retire like cloud did.

I can understand why Greg maybe doesn't want to go back to Korea, he's been quite vocal about it in the past, and after his long previous stints he's earned the right to say no I suppose...
However, I do think he needs to realise that he's at a pivotal moment in his playing career, the NA ladder isn't viable anymore for true practice, the standard elsewhere is rising considerably faster! I believe that Greg wants to be the best, and I do think he needs to reconsider... yes, the lifestyle may not be as good as america, yes he's settled and is surrounded by people he knows and likes... but to be the best you gotta make the sacrifices! ok, he made those sacrifices in the past but that's just it, they are in the past now and if he wants to be the best NOW, he needs to make the sacrifice once more!

On a side note, I know Greg is still raking in the viewers and stream income despite not really bringing the results home anymore... but am I the only one that feels some solid practice, time away from the stream, and posting some impressive results would do even more for his popularity rather than streaming vs Fuzer and calling people bad? Because I do hope that Greg isn't making the 'easy' choice of relying on this, it goes against everything I loved about him... the constant need to be the best!
