Yes, he had a bank. Yes, he was about to go up a base. But, with no larvae and voids + a bunch of archons incoming I honestly don't think IdrA could have taken that.
Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. I hate Minigun. Because he took out most of miniguns army, if he didn't have larva then that means he missed a ton of injects. To be honest I guarantee it he had larva to remax as I would have and many other zergs would have. SO i don't know why you say he didn't have larva because that would mean idra went a long time without injecting. No, he didn't take out 'most' of miniguns army. mini never went below 150 supply. I think you simply don't understand how unbeatable toss air is in hots lategame.
yeah i bet blade just doesnt understand the game!

the problem is everyone is hung up on his bank. making a swell of hydras wouldn't be enough to defeat that composition. especially if mini took a second to replenish his templar count.

there is always next time greg! GOOD LUCK!! 1) lol 2) That's what people have said over and over. Idra doesn't have the right mentality to win. If he did, he might try and win games which were possible to win, rather than quitting early every single time.
He shouldn't be playing SC2 until he decides he wants to try and win, rather than assuming he should win and then raging when he doesn't get the win he thinks he should have.
He doesn't have a winning attitude towards the game, and it's getting stale. People are probably coming here to bash him because they don't think he deserves invites, and it's his legion of fanboys who always say "next time" that manages to somehow get him invites he doesn't really deserve, through his popularity. He doesn't act like a professional, and he doesn't try to win.
He doesn't need luck, he needs to actually try.

Now tell me, when was the last time Idra got an invite to something. I am genuinly curious

The problem imo is that for idra there is absolutely no link between his fame/salary and his skill. Let's face it, he isn't a progamer, he is a personality. Raging and calling people bad is what gets him fans/haters/viewers/money. He hasn't been relevant for years but he doesn't HAVE to be relevant to be successful. He has a very privileged position all things considered, but sadly it's a position that does no good in motivating him to actually try to be good when being good is the most irrelevant part of his job.

I forgot how bad TL becomes when IdrA loses... Hopefully he can beat Morrow tomorrow!

Like it or not, but Idra earned his fame through more than BM

Just because he isn't the best player in NA doesn't mean he is not Code S level.

He's playing Morrow tomorrow? When what where?
Also, MLG must be really disappointed that Idra didn't make it after seeing how many viewers he brought to the qualifier.
And something else I come to think of, now that he's done with MLG and IPL, there is no reason for him not to be shipped off to Korea asap is there?

The way MLG would benefit the most from IdrA would be to have Minigun not go to a LAN (again) so that the free slot is given to IdrA (through a mini-tournament or whatnot) and then IdrA beats Life in a ZvZ with swarmhosts.
Songs would be sung.

most successful foreign BW player lawl. We are talking about fame earned in the past, so we can mention Grrr....., Elky, Slayer and others who acutally managed to play in OSLs, MSLs (KPGA tournaments before) and not fail in the qualification rounds like idra. I think idra had like 2 televised matches in brood war which he lost. I know this is the idra fanclub, but get your facts straight.

Thank you, did not know that it was as early as tomorrow.

Kinda funny watching people argue with Blade. He is (was?) a top master/GM Zerg.. He should know better than 99% of this thread.
IdrA has done this so many times. I only watch SC2 when IdrA and San play, and I get so sad everytime either lose. Oh well. Next time!

As far as I know, Idra came close to beating pros like Stork several times in practice, and I think thats fairly impressive. of course, those guys were before my time so what do I know

As far as I remember, Nony was the strongest endgame foreigner. IdrA beat Tossgirl, and made her cry once though.
