I don't really see the upside in it also. Best case scenario he cancels InC's third, worst case (which is what happens) he loses a lot of stuff for nothing.

It seems like infestors > mutas everyday, tbh.

You won't see anything interesting anyway now since 4 gate and 1 base are joke builds compared to before. You don't have to scout main gas timings at all.

IdrA destroyed his main with mutas, but Younghwa's push was too strong and had too many stalkers in it. It seems like infestors > mutas everyday, tbh. He just played that game incredibly half-assed. He needed to base race with the lings/mutas, and keep making mutas and spines at his third until incontrol killed his pool and spire. He had creep in front of his thrid, when incontrol killed his main he needded to pull back with everything and engage with spines/lings/mutas, getting surface area on the stalkers with lings, and targeting stalkers with spines and mutas. Muta is a really weird way to play that map, but incontrol kind of forced it with the late third and collosus before third base.

Does anyone else feel a bit disapointed / worried with how his play has decreased? Recently he hasn't had much success in tournaments, but has done O.K. on the ladder. Although I haven't given up hope, I'm still an Idra FAN!! Sometimes my girlfriend distracts me when I play, do you think Idra is distracted by girl troubles? Usually I tell her to "go away" for twenty minutes or so until my game is over. Can anyone bring up any examples of Idra being obviously distracted at a major tourney?? Keeping one's mind free of distractions shouldn't be a problem for such an xp'd progamer like Idra. So, what do you think is the reason for his fall from grace?

I think, though it's incredibly overstated, he does have somewhat of a mental barrier that he hasn't crossed yet, plus, the metagame is changing constantly, and he doesn't adapt as well to more substantial changes as quick as he should, and thus falls short a lot of the time. He'll bounce back. He has the potential to do it, and the drive is there. Regardless, i'll be an IdrA fan 'till he quits. I love the guy. :D

Everyone can suffer from distractions, I guess even Gracken . Idra is probably my favourite pro-gamer. Sometimes I stay up late thinking of his sweet Macro and LOL BMs Soon he will be back at the top I know it. On the other hand, maybe he needs to step out of the limelight for a while. Because the stress of being such a fan favourite can be hard. And the pressures of being a pro-gamer, I can only imagine, LOL. Does anyone think Idra maybe just needs a vacation?

Also basically all his losses have occured to either top level Koreans...MC/Alive/Taeja/Nestea/Oz, or they have been cross server clan matches. I don't recall seeing him play many games against average Koreans/foreigners on the same server in a while.

The breaking line for a lot of his fans is the last IEM - he won vs. Supernova, but lost against Kas, Feast, ReaL, and DarkForce, none of whom are really top pros.
