He kind of got screwed over by playing a top 3 protoss and an equally good Zerg. I'm optimistic for the future but pretty sad right now -_______- I'm not too optimistic. Idra continues to underperform in every tournament he enters. Hopefully I'm wrong t.t

Secondly, he should of beat OZ and then he did what he always does when he played vs Nestea and psyched himself into going 0-2. -_- I am very close to giving up on Idra. Look at his track record in tournaments for the last 2 months. Just horrid.

Hopefully I'm wrong t.t I really didn't feel he underperformed at all in this tourney. Some bad luck caused it so he had to play his weakest matchup against one of the best korean protoss, and he had an extremely close series with him. Then, because of some more bad luck, he wound up facing Nestea. Although Nestea's zerg crown has been given to DRG somewhat, he still probably has the best ZvZ in the world. Losing a build order loss, and another game do to a big risk by Nestea paying off isn't that bad.

Idra just spent 3 months in korea training with Slayers. And for months now people have been saying that Idra is good if he just can get the practice. Now he has and so if Idra want to get back to the top of sc2 scen he needs to start winning. You cant blame that he plays good players. Look at this MLG and Asus Rog. Top koreans are falling all over the place to foreigners so there is no reason Idra could not beat both Oz and Nestea. Hell Haypro beat Nestea ffs. And even though this is the idra fan topic, but it sounds like Idra never ever lost a game because the opponent played better. There is always some excuse. But look at game 2 nestea game. Nestea took perfect decision and won, in the game vs Oz, idra did not make those decisions and took bad engagement and he lost because of it. It is those decisions and engagements that needs to be perfect at this lvl or you will lose. And then it does not matter how good you play. Titan vs puma in Rog, titan played great but fucked up one time and boom he lost the game. Thats what happens when you play top players. Same for Kas vs puma and so on. Idra has what it takes but atm he is far from there and has alot of work to do. Especially since he keeps leaving games that are not over.

Look at the improvement in his ZvP in this tournament. He went up against Oz, one of the best Protosses in the world, and very nearly took him down. His second match was against arguably the best ZvZ player in the world in NesTea. No rational fan picked him for either of those matches, yet he competed well in both. This is NOT underperforming, this is getting a draw against two of the top Korean players in the world.

Look at the GSL code S and even code A. Terrible terrible performance.
