Whoa...I did not see that coming. IdrA was transitioning into Roaches just fine and the game was going pretty normal, but Puma just hit that nice timing.

edit: I think he left because the 3rd base would've been sacked, so Puma would be ahead, and maybe most of the Roaches were being produced at that 3rd base.

Yeah, he could have ATTEMPTED to hold it, but even if he did, he would be pretty far behind and would end up losing to the next big push.

Hmm, I could try to justify that by saying IdrA might have held that, but it would have cost him his third base and eventually the game. But I dont care, he should have tried.

Guys this game was so done. Puma was at IdrA's third. Same supplies and idra made 7 roaches. Roaches arent good against thors. For the rest he had lings who would have just melted. And on top of that, Puma's mech army was just soooo much more costificient. Ofcourse he could've tried but this time, it wouldnt have mattered. At all. Just outplayed and dont bash IdrA. His timings were just a little off, for this push. But usually when you go mech you wait till around 180 supply to move out, so it was just a 'weird' push from puma where IdrA was not prepared for. Stop talking the old IdrA is back cause this game was just over...

Puma did a +1 (maybe +2) mass BFH + 6ish Thor a few seconds before IdrA could mass up enough Roaches. He was in an unwinnable situation so he left early.

exactly, he probably would have lost after holding it 99% of the times, but that 1% could have happened, and thats what makes the difference between a good player and a champion

IdrA didn't have the roaches yet, it was only on 2 bases (he had 2 more hatches building) vs PuMa on 3. All he had were mutas and lings, not enough to even put a fight against the number of thors and hellions.
