TT1 is getting better. Either its a PR thing or hes really come around to liking greg a bit more. Who knows lol.

I think Idra's ZvT is best foreigners by quite a long way. I thought maybe Stephano but losing to Boxer in a macro game is something Idra never seemed like he would do in 10 games. Stephano's love of roach openings and roaches in general was destroyed by Boxer, who wasn't playing his best by any means.
Idra just needs to work on early game, and he is great. He always gets a late Hive but thats because he ALWAYS has tons of mutas. In fact, Idra's 30 muta strategy is something other Zergs should do more, because it is absurdly powerful. Most Zerg's get there regular 18 mutas, then stop. Terran places 4 turrets at each base, along with a handful of marines and 1 medivac and he is immune to harass. Terran is now free to drop, pressure, clear creep and push with thors, and destroy Zerg's in the transition. Idra's mutas are downright scary, because 30 mutas 50 lings and 10 banelings are much scarier than 18 mutas 50 lings and 45 banelings. Once the tank count gets to a certain number, banelings are far worse because with target fire, the baneling count gets reduced so bad that marines can actually take them out with having to do pre splitting (splitting reduces dps of marines, which makes them lose to lings).

Apparently Idra spoke in the last few weeks about how talking to Alex had helped him improve his mentality or something like that? Was this on ITG, or was it in an interview or ...? I would like to watch it if anyone can tell me where it might be viewable!

You can never base your judgements on one event alone. Just like a lot of people were wrong for overpraising Stephano for winning IPL (he defeated a few Korean B-teamers; his run was almost as easy as Idra's at IEM and Stephano himself said that he didn't play that well), you can not denounce him after having one bad weekend. Stephano has been consistently amazing for a year now and will only get better. The only reason I consider him inferior to Idra at the moment is his lack of experience at LANs and the fact that he is yet to go through a serious tilt and recover from it.
P.S. Everyone's talking about Idra today... MC is on Fuck Slasher and they told him that if he wins just one match, he'll be facing Idra. His reply: "EG-PG".

MC has THE style to take down a player like IdrA and we've seen him do that a few times. The same goes for Ret btw.

No. That's like saying Boxer > Flash in Bw. The best current people are always better then the best old people. Grrr had an OSL, but IdrA had more talent and skill.
