I just noticed that bunch of the urls' in the OP is missing a "]", can a mod/someone go make the correction so the OP will look more complete?

I'm rooting for IdrA to at least top 8, coming off of Guangzhou and his alright performance at IPL. As long as he is well rested and in a good mental place, I think we are going to see some great games from the Gracken.

I really don't know anything else :s If you do go muta ling bling, and you defend, you are in a great spot though ;o
In theory, shouldn't roach/ling on creep, with spine support be good? Large investment, but Roaches are plenty tanky even vs marauders (takes 7 hits to kill one) and as soon as they've killed a few hellions, lings can mop up.
I've watched a lot of games from IdrA the last 6 months, and it seems that he usually have a very clear plan for how he wants the game to go, and plans for all the usual timing attacks. What seems to be his weak point is hardcore bunker-rushes, as he doesn't want to overpull drones (seen Ret do it a couple of times with great success vs 11/12 rax, multiple bunkers) and unusual timings and attacks (se his lost elfi games where elfi used Phoenix / Warp Prism / Zealot).
I think that even if he were to play MVP, he'd have at least a 50/50 chance of winning, barring any hardcore cheese and 'unusual' (marauder / hellion) timing attack.
My train of thought is, his mechanics are so very very good, that couldn't he be able to play a little bit safer and still power through? And with safer I mean sacrificing 2 overlords (that's 2 larvae and 200 minerals early, ouch ) or build a roach lair if he has insufficient scouting information? It will delay his tech a bit, but for example the muta-cloud seems to be effective even if they aren't super super early?

As much of a macro beast IdrA is hes not the macro beast the MVP is. MVP is a whole different animal right now. He plays near perfection which is complimented by his intelligent decision making. I think MVP is ahead even in mechanics at this point. Would love to watch MVP vs IdrA though, those would be some fun games.

So I was looking at Idra's pool for Orlando and decided that there's no reason he shouldn't get top spot in such a group. o_o
I'm actually really hopeful for a win here. Just needs to make sure he gets his sleep.

As hopeful as this all sounds, let's be mindful of the player coming from the open bracket. There are a ton of top tier players in the open bracket for this MLG and based on his current group set up, the only (likely) challenger he will face will be the player that emerges from the open bracket. Hopefully he gets an okay draw with that, especially since it's extremely likely that player is a Terran.

Ret doesn't like ZvZ at all. I'm pretty sure it's his worst match up. I bet if he had a chance to offrace in ZvZ like he did in BW, he would.
