I defend husky because he got me in to SC2 from where I found TL and then watch Day9, and there are many people like me who started with Husky. | ||

Wrong, Day9 has and will cast for free apart from his paid gigs. I know this for a fact. Also, Day9 actually brings something to the community besides simply casting games and uploading them. There's a huge difference in Husky's contributions(lol) and Day9's(amazing). I think it's pretty easy to see that Husky is much more in it for the market opportunity he has encountered via his usage of Youtube and he is doing exactly what any of us would do, cashing in. The Baneling music parody may be a good song, but it was an even greater market opportunity to gain hits, viewers, etc for more income. Yes, I am aware the mp3 sales are going to charity, but it's still gaining him money. Sometimes telling the truth is too much and bans happen as a result. | ||

I learned about the pro-scene of starcraft from husky and hd and my opinion about idra was that it was a spoiled kid that couldn't accept defeat and that he was a bad player always losing. Then i watched gsl and because i play zerg i searched a little bit more about him...i found this thread, myeg.net and his casts and what i understood is that he is very smart and very funny....always sarcastic and cynical with amazing quotes...i became a huge fan Personally i blame husky and hd for the wrong impression i had...this is the way they present him in their channels...and if they don't do it on purpose (which i'm not sure because they show only "rage" replays) they should say something about it....i would do it....just read all the comments below their videos about idra...there is a new one released...the majority seems to hate him for no reason...just because he is being sarcastic... I don't blame him if he is pissed off with them... | ||

No-one cares if Husky makes money, well done him for convincing people he has a clue what he's talking about. The fact people can't see the difference between Day and Husky is mind boggling. Day9 is a TL veteran, a dam good player and a SC legend. I don't personally like the dailies that much; but I can respect the guy. He bleeds SC and cares about TL. Husky will eventually find something better to do and then he'll never cast SC again. | ||
