I have to say I was never exactly a "fan" of IdrA's playstyle, though I always respected him as a great player. But after the interview he did with Artosis the other week and some of those epic, epic matches in the KotB, I relented.

IdrA, TLO, and Sen - the three greatest cerebrates in my book.

IdrA was a boring T player in sc1, cheered for him as a non korean though. In sc2 I like his interviews etc. he can be BM but usually is just honest with someone. Now I mostly cheer for him as a fellow zerg, and basically the only zerg competing in the major tournaments since dimagas breakdown.

The thing I like most about Idra is his confidence. Relying completely on building up to a late-game macro push shows a lot of confidence. Also, I'm sick of hearing/reading interviews of other namby-pamby SC2 players and their aw-shucksisms, saying crap like "Oh gee willickers I just try my hardest." People don't wanna watch SC2 so they can see the Little Engine That Could.

Give me a player with the balls to say "the top two American players are myself and Nony, and Nony doesn't really work hard at it right now." Give me a player who hates losing as much as Kobe Bryant. Give me a player who is not only bad at losing, but good at winning.

Yes, my friends. Give me Idra.

^^ very true. IdrA is crazy good and doesn't get appreciated enough in my opinion.

NoNy has played like 9 ladder games and it playing the campaign at the moment, I was lucky enough to play mr Liquid'Tyler

For someone who plays 12 hours every day, his loses should be minimal, yet he still loses. Also, as a professional eSports player, he should take losing like a man. But I do admit that when someone 1v1's him going a macro game, he's quite good.

Idra could you please post a replay pack like Artosis did for your fans? Would be awesome. Maybe he doesn't see this but could the thread starter or someone ask Idra?

At first I didn't like IdrA because of BM, but now having seen interviews with him and his exceptionally good SC2 play I have a new-found appreciation for him as a player. I've come to like his BM simply because he reacts how we are all thinking when we lose a game whether we want to admit it or not. Go IdrA.

I'm ashamed to say that I used to hate both IdrA and liquidTLO, because of BM (IdrA with the famous non GG and TLO with those cheesy strats) but I've discovered that it's really all about skill, and IdrA's really good, so he has my support! :D

Count me in! Really entertaining to see when Idra rages. It just cracks me up. That aside, he's a really good zerg player too!
I astonish myself everyday
