And super good mannered. As others have said, the games were a lot of fun to watch.

It's okay TLO, you're #1 in my heart.

I'm sad that TLO lost to White-Ra, would have loved to see him in the finals because of his random-EPICNESS!!!! The series for third rank should be awesome though! It's not that that I want to take anything away from Ra, he IS a monster, but when I saw TLO getting P the third time in a row [(1/3)³] I almost had tears in my eyes

Ah, it' s okay now, looking forward to the upcoming striking creativness from THE "most-interessting-to-watch" SC2 player!

I'm always happy to watch TLO! I'm saying he's the next boxer in terms of creativity.
|
+ Show Spoiler +I'm wondering if TLO will now stop playing random after basically loosing to White_Ra cuz he got Protoss three times in a row
I'd really like to see TLO choose a race, because he's very creative with all three races, imagine how creative he will be when he really focuses on one race and with him saying it's probably gonna be Terran, I'd be even happier with that! ^^'

TLO you have the sexiest infestors i've ever seen.
|
Did you see the game on Scrap Station in the HDH?
+ Show Spoiler +TLO won with mass queens! Srsly!
I kind of want TLO's babies.

I don't think you can reach top level with random

As much as I respect TLO, I feel like he would have been better served doing something "normal" in his PvP games. His builds were just a little too out there for my tastes.
PvP seems to be a very strong matchup for WhiteRa, and he is not going to be beaten by blink stalker harrassment, etc.

Well said. WhiteRa played phenomenally and earned his wins, but all the same I was rooting for TLO. Luckily, since they're doing a 3rd place match, we still get to see another series with TLO, but I would have loved to see his antics in the finals. He's such an entertaining player to watch, and as a Random player you get to see him in every single matchup if you watch enough of his replays.
The way the 5th game ended was painful, too. TLO was probably behind in unit comp, but if he wasn't way out of position with a bunch of units out killing Pylons, he would have had a fighting chance. His use of Blink was outstanding, but IMHO he should have gone for some more traditional robo tech - Immos would have had plenty of Armored targets to do their obscene bonus damage to.
Congrats to both players for an amazing series, arguably the best of the tournament so far. Lots of close games, went to an ace match, and both players had some extraordinary plays throughout the set. I look forward to watching them each play again in the finals and 3rd place matches.

The Stalker harassment wasn't game breaking but it was pretty effective. I agree that he should have done a more 'normal' build, though. Being creative is cool and all, but Immortals do outlandish DPS to Armored targets, and WhiteRa had plenty of those.

that was very bad luck to get protoss 3 games in a row.
TLO, after randoming protoss twice in the HDH, i wish you woulda just picked for the final game. i know the odds are in your favor to get z or t, but why risk it in game 5? I was looking forward to seeing you in the finals.
Either way, I like watching your games, very creative and great micro. see you in future tournaments.

Do you think it's allowed to change the race in the middle of a series in a tournament with thousands of dollars as the prizepool? I don't.

As another member of the TLO fanclub I was also sad to see him pull P that last game.
I know random means you need a ton more practice to be just as good as someone who plays one race, but I don't think it is necessarily too much. I am pretty sure Idra can be #1 in both US and ASIA divisions pretty handily with both T and Z. I for one am all for continuing to see crazy play from each race from TLO.

Yeah he couldn't choose a race.
And how do I sign up for TLO's fanclub?

Why didnt TLO attack when he was up 140 to 110 on White-ra in the third game on metalopolis?!?!!? He should have blinked his stalkers into the back of the base and then ran that large zealot sentry horde into the natural and crushed it. idk why he was so passive.
If you have a larger economy AND a larger army then you should attack!

Easy to say these kinds of things in hindsight. TLO doesn't know the food count or what exactly he'll find two seconds after blinking up.
Unfortunate that you got protoss 3 times, the odds of that happening are 1/25. Still one of the most creative and overall most balanced players in the game, random screws come with the territory.

Sick performance in the HDH Invitational
+ Show Spoiler +I had TLO to win the whole event, but White-Ra was the next best player in the pool I think. Whoever advances will have a really hard time dealing with the beast from the East. A new level of PvP is going to emerge out of a Nony/White-Ra matchup if it happens. And then we could see TLO vs. Idra... haha. Wow what a matchup.
|
+ Show Spoiler +TLO basically ended up giving away G3 with the pylon placement thing that came and bit him again in G4.
|
Yeah it sucks that he lost, but maybe instead of focusing his loss to WhiteRa we should think about his win against CauthonLuck. That was amazing how well he did, after going 0-4 in the MLG series. I thought he was a goner for sure when Cauthon set up the siege tank contain in game 1.
<3 TLO
