I realise I still haven't delivered the BIG result everyone is waiting for in 2012. But this year has been a big personal success for me. I managed to get my RSI/CTS completely under control. And for the first time since the end of 2010 I was able to practice for half a year now without having to take big breaks to heal up. Ever since then I think I managed to improve steadily and eventhough I still have to make a lot of improvements as a person and player I'm very much looking forward to take on the challenge. You can't understand how grateful I am that so many of you kept cheering for me despite delivering almost no mentionable results for a very long time and it makes me really happy that I can finally start giving something back to you. It's a real privilege to be cheered on by such loyal and incredible fans. I also want to thank my incredible brothers and closest friends who in the past half year especially have given me more energy than I ever thought I have in me. I'm still really angry about not advancing to the ro4, I made some stupid mistakes, but I know that I will learn from them. Sometimes I still get nervous. But it seems to happen at later and later stages in tounaments these days. So I think I'll just need to keep competing now and it won't be an issue anymore soon as long as I actively work on it ![]() Sincerely, Dario

Your play in HSC has been insane and playing better than Symbol (cause you really did) is no small feat, I'm SO impressed.

TLO wins (16.22%): 3-0: 2.68% 3-1: 5.64% 3-2: 7.90% Symbol wins (83.78%): 3-0: 34.40% 3-1: 30.89% 3-2: 18.49% Most likely winner: Symbol (83.78%) Median outcome: TLO 1-3 Symbol Be glad with what you achieved today, your last message on the HSC was that fortunes favors the bold and that you love how those scores, like above, show your progress. Be glad you went above "statistics" and be glad that after today, your next eventual encounter with symbol, the percentages will be much higher.

I'm still really angry about not advancing to the ro4, I made some stupid mistakes, but I know that I will learn from them. Sometimes I still get nervous. The other stream switched on a view of you playing between games, and you actually looked very tense and pissed. Though it's understandable that you didn't enjoy losing a tied series, you still gave a hard time to one of the best zergs in the world (many would agree to rank symbol among the top 3/5), so it's still awesome. Also, I don't know which mouse sens you use, but your shoulder moves so much when you play, it must be tiring. I remember hearing Demuslim talking about how koreans advised him to keep his hands calm, it's not really your case ![]()

Not always the better players wins in SC2, we saw it today between the 2 zergs. Btw, i think Dario is slowly becoming one of the best foreigner. Great Run, enjoy ur time at HSC :D edit : feel free to sign me as a TLO fan ![]()

I have never been able to watch a player jump in skill the way i've been able to watch TLO do so over the past months. I just hope we someday get to see his ultralisk overlord drop micro against mech on a big stage. TLO is sort of typecast as the creative but not highest level player but I really think he's breaking out of that while keeping his innovation. I can't watch five games on his stream without seeing him do something uncommon that is cute or innovative but still functional. You can also tell he's trying really hard to play faster which is something a lot of foreigners could benefit from. His clicks are a little frantic right now but I'd imagine he'll eventually smooth out at a much higher average apm than before. Bravo Dario! You are my pick for player to break out in the second half of 2012! Edit: Also, his taste in music is muuuuch more to my liking than most other streamers out there. Thank you SiguR ![]() very nice to read positive feedback! I really think I am training smarter and harder than I have at any point before in my career. Not sure how long it'll take for me to break through with tournament wins but I know at this point all I have to do is keep up what I do and step by step improve my training techniques and hard work ![]() Whelp TLO, you beat the foreigners you played and barely lost a close series to a top level korean. I don't think my silly little choice to pick you as a breakout player for 2012 was wrong. Most of the games you won didn't look close - you looked like you were a level above most of the people you played. When you watch refined Korean play, you get a feel for how smooth and full the play is. When you watch North Americans and Europeans play, it sometimes feels jagged or spontaneous (aka, unrefined) even when they are winning games. Your play this weekend looked and felt and smelled like top level Starcraft and it was a pleasure to watch. I think you did as well as you possibly could've without taking first (pretty sure you would've rocked almost anyone else in the ro8, but that's just an opinion). It wouldn't be any fun if you could already beat everyone. TLO fighting!
