In my humble opinion these are not the weasely ways of a cheesy random player who uses confusing builds to lure the poor, unsuspecting one race players off the right path. If he bypasses a contain with lings, harasses the probeline only to draw back and morph some banelings in an opportune moment, then uses the nydus to full effect to escape doom after having made just the right amount of defense to delay the inevitable attack and just the right units to ensure victory after taking out WhiteRa's main, I personally don't need Day9 to tell me how great that is. (Although he makes it so much more enjoyable ![]() Not to mention the numerous creative, quick and effective decisions he made in the game with Nazgul, a game which he also played very well technically, showing off his multitasking and decision making ability. (Pure rine counter attack when he knew the colossi that would've fried them in no time were on the other side of the map) All this talk about who deserves more credit for their play is completely futile and redundant, getting to the final of an event like this proves they are both pretty awesome, even if lf9 didn't participate. What stands is that I and probably many other people saw some of the most entertaining games in our starcraft career. edit: a) not that WhiteRa needs any proof anymore ![]()

Which is why people don't go random all the time in SC1 and SC2. In fact they very rarely play random. Makes sense! Hahaha I mean who the fuck are you to be even pulling this kind of attitude. Players like this tend to shine early on, and then fall off the radar when the game is more perfected and linear, and the more mechanically sound, solid players are aware of almost everything that is viable that could come at them and prepare accordingly. I hope he proves me wrong. lololol you sound, amazingly, really jealous. I'm rather incredulous at just how petty people can be, but then again, the internet makes you stupid (specifically, you)

Did he make mistakes? Yes. So did WhiteRa. So did others. It happens. Get over it. Chill out dude and quit trying to troll.

I'm no expert at Starcraft, but I see everyone making incredible mechanical errors at this point, so it's really pointless to dwell on that. My biggest gripe with Starcraft 1 was that, to be competitive, you had to put in sweatshop hours worth of practice for years on end. I'm hoping with this game, with many of the non-strategic, tedious clicks and actions removed, intelligent players can at least compete compete with purely mechanical players.

Coolest thing since KHB's livestream! Hope Day9 does some more analysis of his games. My favorite move so far was starting a nuke to herd workers away and into a pack of hellions... zero workers survived...

Loved all of the games except for White-ra's but he won so props to him. Idk he relied on cheesing for most of his games. he made it seem like he has mastered the first 10 mins of the game, but didnt let us see what his game was like past that point. The Nazgul/TLO games were amazing to say the least.
