I understand that mentality, but consider if multiple people start taking that same mindset and posting "hey I came across this old thing, hope nobody's seen it!" then every week or so you get the same thing posted over and over and over. Besides, you can still post old things if you just stuff it in a spoiler as an addendum without it standing out in an obtrusive manner, especially when it's something containing a lot of media. You ought to go through the rest of this thread if you're already off digging for old content. It's a better source than most places you'll come across.
