MusicCore is recorded and not actually live. What they're doing is they are taking this weeks episode and broadcasting it on the 17th. And so they just won't record another MuCore until next week.

musiccore is definitely live, for the most part its just that some of the performances are pre-recorded to make the whole show flow smoothly during the broadcast they might have just recorded the whole show this last week, but i think its more likely that they only recorded the scheduled prerecordings and will probably do the rest live next week
i think fan club members only get to come in if the artist is pre-recording and really popular when i was there, the snsd fanclub was there for the prerecording, and stayed for the rest of the prerecording artists i was under the impression that you needed to register for the fan club somewhere to get in from that but im probably wrong since i could never figure out how to register (i got into musiccore through mbc connections lol)
i'm posting this in here in response to the 'what do k-pop idols make' thread which was closed.
nothing. entertainment companies slave them away for minimum wage and take all of the profits.
and yes they all live in dorms/apartments and have like no freedom at all.
which goes on to how terrible the entertainment industry in korea is set up. basically you have to pay money to appear on music shows to promote (hint: indies cant get on unless they are rich as fuck)
i could go on and on but i dont really know much about the subject to be honest just wait until someone more informed about korean industry comes in.
i guess you could say korea tries to model itself on the idol system in japan, but korean companies are that greedy they exploit them to the max.
discuss. i may be wrong on some points but in general i think i'm correct.
