I just noticed this but does CN Blue play a recording and not actually use their instruments? I don't want to believe it but I'm watching the video and it doesn't look like they're playing. Heck, I don't even think their instruments are connected!

I remember seeing FT Island not play their instruments as well on shows like music bank ... i don't know why they don't exactly, I assume the producers want a perfect performance?

They do seem like they are just going through the motions and not really making any music from the instruments.

They're definitely just going through the motions. It could possibly be that the sound systems of the stages were built for idol groups and just aren't equipped for a live band to play. Wireless instruments don't really seem like a viable option. What about other groups? I know it was said up above that FT Island didn't actually play, but what about Cherry Filter? Or that guy from Norazo? Do they actually play their instruments?

1st off, that AS video wasn't that great. it's was an ok perf but if you take the best singers from any idol group you could come up with a better performance

2nd, it is most likely that cnblue does not play their instruments live. why? because the korean music show PDs have a stupid backwards view on music. they want to minimize errors to create a perfect performance, and adding in live instruments would increase the chance of a mistake. most bands would LOVE to play live, but they simply aren't able to. the older, more influential bands that have more say, such as yoon do hyun probably are able to play live but the younger idol ones? not a chance.
