To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

This is America, and there are quite a number of people, white or black, that expect you to know their language and anything else is unacceptable.
If you want an example of a singer / group that could make it to USA listen to One Way. omfg I posted their song several pages ago but no one knows who the fuck they are. No accent at all plus their music sounds the most western out of anyone in K-Pop

I think everybody can tell that K-POP is more about visuals than is it about the music.
Boram sucks, SNSD isn't pedo, and no one's flaming shit.
People here need to wake the fuck up and realize that labels such as SM are fucking slave drivers, and aren't all that great. Fanboys and fangirls need to go live in the world of reality. Wanna know why Jay left 2PM? Cause he wanted out. No freedom to do shit, and it's not all that good.

And apparently he didn't make as much money as most people thought, especially considering he said he was gonna work to help support his family... I mean what? With all the sales that 2PM earned, Jay saying that doesn't make any sense...
Anyways to people that are actually talented: Interview w. Clara Chung
Eh, the record labels make 99% of the profits. It wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that Jay was underpaid. Slave contracts, etc.
Too bad we'll never know the actual salaries of artists.

i remember awhile back of jay having to work a part-time job as a mechanic. was fine/normal since hes just makign money for hsi family/himself but made me wonder how much he REALLY got paid (or didnt get paid).
Does anyone have the info about the whole how much their paid or is it all just speculations based on other idols that we've seen in Korea/contracted by SM?
“South Korea broadcast a pop song extolling freedom of choice and a warning on the dangers of overeating into North Korea, ending a six-year moratorium on propaganda in retaliation for the sinking of a warship…
The propaganda broadcast made on FM radio began at 6 p.m. local time yesterday when a woman anchor announced what she called the “voice of freedom.” North Korean listeners were regaled with a song by a South Korean girl band, Four Minute.
In the tune, “Huh,” the band sings: “When I say I want to appear on TV, when I say I want to become prettier, everybody says I can’t do it. Baby, you’re kidding me? I do as I please…”
K-Pop, the new psychological weapon of terror !!!
They should play the music videos on huge screen instead, that would distract a few NK soldiers for sure
Randomly dropping in to say I met Super Junior at their fan meeting and was there for Kangin's 'shocking' farewell appearance. (Yes, I did cry.) I felt kind of bad for the second session fans (there were 2 meets in one day.) because it was announced outside that they wouldn't get to meet Suju and Kangin was already gone.
We got out of there before the ensuing riot of furious fangirls.
Also, I went to Dream Concert. I have fancams, but there are tonnes already out so I'm not sure it's worth sharing.
Whoever posted that Goobne Chicken video about 10-20 pages earlier, screw you! You've made me waste hours of my life just listening to it! Now to inflict it on other unsuspecting people.
Can anyone make a gif of Yuri's tongue action in the Goobne Chicken CF? Here's an HD version of where one can cut it out from.

Glad you made it out alive haha. There's speculation that Leeteuk might be military bound next as well.
And yeah show your fancams, at least we K-Pop followers here in TL will appreciate it, at least us kpopflash people will What was your take on the performances during the concert?
For you Hawaiian Couple lovers, here's another song by HUS / Humming Urban Stereo. I thought Taeyeon and Kangin did a decent job with the cover.
