Wanna know why Asian artists don't survive in America? It's because the style of music and shit that makes them popular in Asia doesn't carry over. Americans have different tastes than Asians. Plus, who wants to listen to Engrish? If Asian artists are to ever survive in America, they're gonna have to be completely fluent and accentless. But that ain't ever gonna happen unless they were raised in America. The standards are the same. Asian artists just suck. The style of music doesn't really go along with mainstream American music, and to top it off, they can barely speak a lick of English. Why listen to someone who can't fucking speak English when you can listen to someone who's fluent. It's cringeworthy listening to nonfluent speakers. Don't talk as if you know America.

Honestly, who has more talent, regardless of accent? Ugh. Both have blatantly crass commercialization. Western cultures' inability for its celebrities to be the object of their own humor/fun is one of the major barriers to having Asian stars break through. Ever seen your favorite non-comedian celebrity become a dork in a commercial?

Different preferences = People like different things. Ever seen your favorite non-comedian celebrity become a dork in a commercial? No, I'm pretty sure Americans are more open minded to Asian cultures these days. But when it comes to music, in the American market, it's all about marketability. Engrish does NOT market well. To be honest, I think Korean/Japanese artists are no worse, no less talented than some popular American pop artists such as Justin Bieber. But in an American market, I'd rather listen to Justin Bieber sing in fluent English over cringing Engrish.

I mean, who would want petite, prepubescent looking girls with no boobs and ass? + Show Spoiler + PEDOBEAR, that's who. ![]()
