I think it was literally the show after TTS left they started doing trophies, or something like that atleast. Inkigayo brought their trophies back just a few weeks before that, in the first several months of 2013 I think. All the music show ratings were low and dropping so they decided to bring the trophies back to attract more attention. Except that's wrong and obtuse. Plenty of good cute concepts still, and you can be cute and act your age. I enjoy sexy. Some groups do it good. Some groups force it and it's garbage. Yeah, I think that's a fair assessment. Tall, leggy bombshells trying to act cute is so bad. (Sunhwa/Nana etc). Cutesy round-cheeked girls trying to do sexy is similarly irritating. It's one of the things I like least about Kpop. I understand evolving as an artist, but just flat out swapping images/concepts like suits of clothes is annoying to me. | ||
