The T-ara N4 song isn't too bad as a dancy club track, but that performance was disappointing. Outfits were bad except for Jiyeon's, and they all looked tired and lacking energy during the performance, which is more noticeable for that song and choreography.

T-ara stages have lacked energy for a while now I think (might have something to do with KKS working them to death, dunno) and they just have no stage presence. Doesn't help that the choreo for this song is awful.

...It's quite possible the song will be bad. Not sure why you thought that sample sounded awesome. It just sounded like high pitched electronic screeching to me. Teaser pics have been the standard sexy concept fare. I'm really not understanding the excitement, other than hormones at work.

I noticed the same thing happened to snsd after genie, all of their performances became really deadpan. I mean, disregarding differences in choreo, itnw performances were on a whole other level compared to the rdr ones. they're still putting in the effort, but that (childish? naive? passionate?) energy is missing. I'm sure doing the same routine for music shows just gets boring after a while. If you watch the live shows and concerts, the girls always look like they're having fun and messing around on stage. But music show stages are just the same routine, in and out, no interaction or fun allowed. Makes sense that it looks more deadpan than anything.
