According to the Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC), revisions are being placed to an existing bill that will regulate any outfit worn by any entertainer on TV who is under the age of 19. The bill will in effect stop the entertainers from wearing revealing outfits on programs or enacting/dancing sexually suggestive choreography. The KCSC aims to rework the bill so that "children, teens and entertainers won’t be commercialized as sex objects in the media." KCSC plans for strict enforcement over all TV content. They hope that by doing this, they can promote "wholesome broadcast content that won’t be detrimental to the good of society at large."
