Yeah well, I'm not sure how "major" of an "issue" it is, that's why I'm wondering if I should bring it up or not. I'm still not convinced that it's an abnormal or harmful thing. Plus I'm not as well spoken in real life as I am in written form, I wouldn't want him to misinterpret... The appointment is making me a little nervous... But I'll take you guys feedback seriously since you guys are the ones who are the most knowledgeable about this "relationship".

I used the incorrect terminology, I wanted to say compression not downscale.
I'm talking about the image quality itself.
Imgur compresses your pictures a lot, especially if you have a large image. Upload a high def image onto something like minus and imgur and compare the two, there's a world of difference.
However, if the image is over 1MB then it will automatically be compressed or resized to 1MB, for better viewing on the net

simply awful, especially for large images to be utilized as wallpapers.

It's an unhealthy obsession, and if you are going there to talk about mental issues, then your mental issues should be discussed, and I think many people here would consider your obsession a mental issue that should be talked through.

I don't think you need to worry... I mean it's a fricking psychatrist we're talking about, I'm quite sure he/she has seen his/her fair share of crazy in his/her lifetime, no reason to hold back, just pour it on or you'll end up regretting it for sure.

I guess I'm the only one here who doesn't think your obsession is really a problem or unhealthy. I think don't really think its that bad. Like its not normal but a lot of things people do aren't normal and it doesn't seem to be a problem for them. And to be honest I wouldn't even call your obsession extreme or anything. Just seemed to me like a devoted fan.

Yea, me too. I don't think he has to shove it into his shrink's face but if the opportunity comes up, don't see a reason not to bring it up. It is part of his life.
