To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules; - Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |

WTF GTR? Failure. Anyways, Sunmi = Tall + Anorexic, Sohee = Find the one who can't sing, Ye eun = The slightly chubby one that can sing, Sunye = The short, skinny one who can sing, Yoobin = The Rapper.
It's not hard, the same applies for SNSD. They've got lets see: Leader, Shortie, Loud American, Quiet American, Youngest, Eyecandy, Actress, Comedian, Ugly.
Duh, it's obviously pretty easy.

Well, both answers above me work.
The way I labeled em, it's quite subjective. Anyways, GTR fails.

Quoted for truth. ELF went insane when SM introduced Suju M. ONLY THIRTEEN AMG. ONLY THIRTEEN. Apparently Leeteuk had to literally tell them to fuck off before they would actually stop.

"Only 13"
After the first announcement of Super Junior-M on October 2, 2007, and the possibility of adding a non-Super Junior member, Henry, to this unit, Super Junior fans immediately voiced out their dissatisfaction and opposition. Immediately, a website was built, called "Only 13", to oppose against SM Entertainment's actions. Through the website, fans of Super Junior communicate and plan out protesting actions against the company. Before legal protests began, many online petitions were made by both Korean and Chinese fans to prevent and convince the label to not add a fourteenth member.[23] Initially fans were planning to boycott the company's products, similar to the actions taken by fans of TVXQ in the past. However, most fans agreed on a silent protest instead. On October 21, 2007 and throughout the week, over 400 fans from Super Junior's official fanclub, E.L.F, silently sat in front of the SM building and held signs that supported the group to have only thirteen members.[24] Situations became worse when SM Entertainment announced through the media that they never stated that Super Junior was a fixed group, although the label announced that Super Junior was a permanent group when Kyuhyun was added to the group in mid-2006.[25] Thousands of fans wrote letters to the company and pleaded them to keep the group permanent, but no answer was returned.[25]
Over one thousand more fans appeared in front of the SM building on E.L.F's third protest on November 3, 2007.[26] Instead of a silent protest, the fans sang various Super Junior songs and shouted "thirteen."[27] Although SM Entertainment's answer to the fans' protest stated that new members in Super Junior-M will not be added to the official group and thus will not affect Super Junior's main career, many fans still held the belief that there will be this possibility of seeing new official Super Junior members in the future.
After more rumors leaked of SM Entertainment sneaking in an extra non-Super Junior member, Zhou Mi, to the subgroup, the fans decided to gain this chance to have a legal representation as part of SM Entertainment's stockholders. As of March 20, 2008, Super Junior fans from all over the world purchased 58,206 stocks of SM Entertainment, holding 0.3% of the company's entire stock.[28] They released a statement through the media, stating that they will obtain all chances to prevent SM Entertainment from adding new members and to keep Super Junior as only thirteen.[28]
After the release of Super Junior-M's official blog on April 3, 2008, over 5,000 comments were posted by Chinese fans in an hour, voicing out their support to keep Super Junior as thirteen members. The administrator resulted in locking the comment box where only those with sohu blog accounts could comment.[29]

Yeah I felt pretty sorry for Henry and Zhoumi (the new members added for Suju M.) when this happened. At the recent concerts in Seoul (although I didn't hear it myself because I was sitting further up in the stands.) the 'Only 13' bullshit chants started up and Eeteuk was pissed off as hell over it. Some of the Elf/Cassie fans for DBSK and Suju are little mentalists who take it all way too seriously (like some of the Progaming fans I could mention...)
I think SM is screwed with this big lawsuit going on involving 3 members of DBSK and the cancellation of the SM Town 2009 concert which was supposed to happen yesterday. The DSBK fanclub has filed for added compensation and a public apology through official channels now.
Their public image is currently down shit creek - especially because they've managed to alienate the fans of BoA, SHINee and the other non-DBSK artists performing at SM Town over an issue not involving any of those groups/artists directly.

Yeah - it's basically been affecting all their artists since the beginning of the contract fights with DBSK. Their contracts and salaries have come into question along with those of SHINee and they are also part of SM town of course.

Wow, stupid shit like that pisses me off. If there's one thing I hate about korea it's the retarded fangirl and antifan mentality that seems to be widespread among immature little girls in korea.
