Been following BEAST/B2ST since their debut, and I really like 'em. I think the group has character, as everyone looks very distinct. They're not a pretty boy band we see all the time that makes you throw up. Also I can easily remember their names to their faces. Now, I like my T-ara/SNSD, but there's been too much saturation lately (been lurking this thread for awhile) and I like variety. Would it kill some of you to post some boy band once in awhile? As for wanting a college education -- pride, I guess. My limited knowledge of Korea/asia points toward going to college being pushed a lot more to kids, whereas America is kind of meh about only having HS educations. There's like 5 million licenses for things in Korea, too, right? I don't know how hard it would be for one of them to get a license for whatever they want to do after their singing days with our w/o a college degree, but maybe that's somewhat related? Still, I think it's mostly just pride. | ||

Like I said before in my other post, I am neutral on this, but I can't help but be entertained from reading it. Life becomes quite a hassle when everyone always knows you and wants to talk to you/signature/etc. and is tracking your every move. I guess you could become famous in e.g. KPop then after your fame dies out move to the States or some other non-asian country and go back to relative obscurity. | ||
