Is claiming everything as plagiarism unique to K-Pop? I swear I have never seen so many people say songs are plagiarized in any other musical genre. It's almost like people don't know what plagiarism actually is.

Well, there have been quite a few very real acts of plagiarism in the kpop industry. Half of that Hyori album being the most famous example.

The fact is writing something truly original melodically is quite difficult by now, even without consciously trying to things you have heard influence your writing, and then the sheer weight of recorded music means that anything you do will at least be similar to something that came before in some regards.

Some of the greatest songs in popular music in the west have long been known to be completely ripped off. Led Zeppelin have been in court for just about their whole discography.

I really hope nobody is kicked off T-ara. I don't like the idea of increasing the group size either, but it's certainly better than forcing anyone out of the group.

This one is pretty good.

There are many more album songs then promoted songs obviously so its kinda hard to say that for most groups.

my boy, mai favorite.

I feel like most of the tracks they promote ususally aren't my favorites from the album, but they're usually ones that are the simplest and will have the largest appeal so...def makes the most sense to promote those lol.
