To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules; - Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |

I would posit that the best possible choice is to open up a Korean Dream Thread in the general section where people with interests in Korean Dreams and things related to Korean Dreams might commune to give support to each other in furthering their interests on the subject. This would also serve the general populace of TL.net by giving people who may possibly be curious, or even a hidden interest, a basis of entry into the world of Korean Dreams.
Hahahaha. Damn. My sides are hurting...

But would a Korean Dream thread not be about the Dreams of Koreans? If we want a thread about Dreams by people about Koreans, we would in fact need a Koreans in your Dreams Thread, otherwise the people posting in a Korean Dreams thread might think it was supposed to be about Korean Dreams, and not about the Dreams of people who Dream of jizzing on the faces of Koreans.
Or people who want to make posts about their dreams could post it in their blogs and see how people respond.

How about just a be all end all Dreams Thread?

The NSFW content itself is actually not prohibited from Team Liquid as long as it is tagged as "NSFW" (which he did tag it as). If this was so, I'd guess Hot Bid would have to get banned for posting his IdrA/Tossgirl erotic fanfic which included more graphic writing than the one were spending five pages to talk about instead of kpop itself. The question is whether or not it was relevant to the thread, which was just recently decided from majority vote of the mod's poll that fanfics/dreams wont be in the future.

Thanks for the clarification. Despite your sardonic tone, essentially yes. Here's some more clarification for you 1. You write a sarcastic, long account of how you had an orgy with kpop stars specifically to try and enrage the general populace of this thread. You hope that with your clever post, you can start the movement for banning what you deem as undesirable. + Show Spoiler +unacceptable. Your intent is entirely malicious and you're just being an ass 2. You really like a certain idol/group and, for whatever reason, think you can express and share your passion through a fanfic the best. You write a fanfic and post it with the appropriate warnings. + Show Spoiler +acceptable. You feel strongly about a certain idol/group and decide to express your love in a fictional R-rated piece. 3. As you put it, you state "idol should wear a bag over their head". + Show Spoiler +unacceptable. Disrespectful, inflammatory, and you specifically made it that way.. 4. You think an idol is overrated and not that good looking. You state "Idk, I don't see it. X idol is just not that attractive to me. Like, even compared to just your average person, I would say that X idol is on the lower end"+ Show Spoiler +
Seem complicated? An easy way to figure all of this out is if you imagine that it's your freshman year of collage and you meet the guy in the dorm room next to yours. Or you meet your aunt. Or a cousin. Or a friend of a friend. Any situation that calls for normal, social interaction. I'm sure if I ran into over summer break visiting korea, we would be friends. At the very least, perfectly respectful with normal interaction. I would probably take you to some BBQ and maybe a SC match or karaoke. Try to act like that.

Ive read 90% of this thread, from page 1 till now.
I think the point most of you are missing is that it is a fucking DISCUSSION. How the hell is an r rated dream going to spawn discussion beyond "wtf" or (if you are exceptionally fucking sick) "dude I wish I had that dream."
This is a place where we can come together and DISCUSS Kpop. If something doesnt contribute to that discussion, then it doesnt belong. Its why pagetopping is banned. Its why flaming and blatant insults arent tolerated. Its why spoilering exists: it gets in the way of an actual discussion.
Actual concert stories, or opening special packages DO add something to the conversation. They create awareness about products, and add new perspectives to things we typically only get to see on YouTube. While I will admit some of them dont need to be 20K words long, brief synopsis of an experience are cool to read.
The main thing atm is this thread is suffering from a FUCKING GIGANTIC case of "whelp I have nothing better to do so I might as well post." That means we get 1 line spam, retarded dream posts, and pathetic arguments about which Idols are ugly. Hell, the main rule that we aught to enforce in this thread is IF YOU DONT HAVE SOMETHING INTERESTING TO SAY OR SHOW SHUT UP.
And that SHOULD extend to things you like/dislike. If you dont like the new Big Bang single, spend a few extra seconds trying to codify your ideas and explain (in a non flaming way) WHY you dislike it. Or why you like it. But really, the shit that gets through in this thread can barely be chalked up as a rational thought, let alone a decent conversation.

Another issue with those stories is that it dehumanizes the idols you all proclaim to love and adore, and it only breeds useless discussions like this, as well as perpetuating the idea of these girls being sex objects. There are probably many other posts that also do this but to a much, much lesser extent. Personally after thinking about it I'm not even sure I'd care to see that stuff in a blog but thats for another discussion. I made the poll not really reading any of these stories but after going back I see no place for that stuff in this thread.
You guys should be able to discuss your favorite stars and their work without posting stuff like that. Its alright to fantasize people do that, but you don't go into class and read a story about how you banged the girl you have a crush on to everyone (even if you warn them). Thats fucked up.

A lot of people are caught up on the thread title. It has evolved past a mere discussion. This thread is now akin to a subforum of Korean pop culture.
I don't see anything wrong with posting accounts of dreams. You don't have any control over your subconscious, it creates whatever crazy situation it wants in your dream. I find it pretty interesting what people can dream, especially relating to a topic they are passionate about.
But if you wrote a fanfic/story about your sexcapade with an idol (which I don't think anyone has done, all the crazy stories I can remember were all dream accounts), keep that out of this thread.

Dude it's not such fucked up version of tourette's where you have to post your idol related wet dream stories in a Teamliquid K-Pop thread. You can control what you post, ya know.

See I don't really have a problem with that, just purely because this whole forum seems to be kind of based on useless posting, hence my real lack of any. I mean, is there any point in literally everyone just saying "Go GENIUS", "DRG FTW" or "mouz ez win" or "Congrats to Nada" etc. I'm not saying I have a real problem with these type of replies, but relative to this thread, it's basically the same, if not even more useless.

The people who enjoy things like the dream obviously aren't going to step up because people are going to think they are sick fucks And no, I am not one of them
We may have to spoiler those rules soon though, they're starting to take up half of the page.

They are stepping up. They're the ones either writing the retarded stories or supporting them.

lol still crying about that?
People complaining about shit just makes this thread way worse than it could ever be if people didn't bitch so much. If you don't like a post or some shit just ignore it and move on, your never forced to look at a post for any more than 1 second so get over it.
edit: yes I am bitching about bitching. I am sure there is a good xzibit pic of that somewhere.

Every time there's a fucking dream post 50 perverted lurkers suddenly pop of no where and have a full-blown conversation that lasts way too long.
You take 50 posts and spend one second and you're reading a minute worth of bullshit.
That or people start complaining and you get the same 50 posts of bullshit.
edit: yeah I'm supporting complaining if it helps get rid of some of the crap that gets posted here.

There was TuElite's dream, Nanashin's dream, and Haxx's dream in recent memory. TuElite's got some attention but not 50 posts, Nana's didn't get that much attention, and now there was only a lot of posts after Haxx's because everyone is bitching about pointless shit. Even if you were exaggerating that still is going a bit far.
