To add about the Karaisa concert, it's sad they didn't sell out entirely but isn't South Korea really really competetive in terms of idol dollars? There's so many groups to spread fan money around. That's why k-pop groups do a ton of overseas promotions. You better believe the Kara Japan concert will be rammed.

She really shouldn't have tried to cover this song though.. It only exposes her vocal weaknesses. Her voice isn't big enough nor is her control good enough for it.

Not sure if trolling or just an INCREDIBLY ignorant comment. Do you know how many people cover songs around the world? Do you know how many songs Beyonce has covered? Do you realize she isn't even unique in any respect and thus there's no way to be a "wannabe" of her since you'd actually be "wannabe"-ing someone else (read: the actual original).

Ailee, as an artist, blatantly tries to copy Beyonce's vocal style. The very first time I heard one of her "original" songs, I could tell right off the bat what she and her producers were trying to market her as, which is a Korean Beyonce. The girl is painfully unoriginal. I'm not basing my comments off the fact she covered Halo. I'm basing it off Ailee's supposedly original work. And sorry, but you're INCREDIBLY stupid if you can't understand this simple concept. Btw, who is Beyonce the wannabe of? To Hyaach: Lol true. I'm not saying Kpop singers need to all be that caliber of vocals. Kpop's fun for what it is. I just get annoyed when people start raving over the vocals of some of these Korean singers that are far from world class yet are being marketed as such.

Seeing Ailee being able to sing while fulfilling all the other idol tasks (moving, smiling, looking good) is proof of a prowess we rarely get to see in this industry. I don't see what's so hard to get.

Singing is a quality that, in their world, ranks among "eye smile", "dancing proficiency" or "long legs". It's not a 1-proficiency-business (and if it were, it wouldn't be singing). Seeing Ailee being able to sing while fulfilling all the other idol tasks (moving, smiling, looking good) is proof of a prowess we rarely get to see in this industry. I don't see what's so hard to get. That's not how Ailee's being marketed. I'm not talking about Kpop as an industry. I'm talking about a single artist here. I'd never expect Hyori Lee to sing well etc, but some artists are promoted as big vocal talents, which is what they're trying to do with Ailee. And she doesn't hold up under scrutiny.
