After having cleared that up, I do prefer Sojin over Jisook. Jisook is somewhat weird but I wouldn't give her troll status, comparing her to Hyorc is down right blasphemous.

I actually don't know if 2NE1 would be as well received as SNSD to be honest. The hip hop/urban feel works in Korea because it's new, its unique, it isn't done with other groups, but it's well established in the US and if it doesn't feel authentic (read:if you aren't black), I don't know if people will give it a chance. In fact, they may be ridiculed. And the whole coming up through the manufactured YG training vs. starting in the streets/independent will work against them.

Considering they performed The Boys the performances wasn't all that bad, at least they didn't embarrass on american tv. It'll probably not make a big difference in the end except that a few people will be more aware of kpop. I wonder if this will benefit WG or not with SNSD getting at least some attention in US.

Hey guys! Coming from quite a long time of lurking here, i finally need your help!

The thing is, I've been watching a lot of IY season 1 during the last weeks and got my subbed stuff from soshified, which I appreciated quite much. However, I just finished watching ep32 ( I nearly cried along with them) and now I don't seem to find good subbed videos for the rest of the season( I even fail to find something on youtube, since there is so much stuff of IY2 now). I've read several times that it might be not that good anymore with the 3 girls leaving but I want to give it a try since I liked the show a lot so far. So maybe somebody here can give me a good site where i can still get them? Would appreciate that a lot and I know you guys can help me, you know everything kpop related (might be because this thread is my only site for kpop news)

2ne1's audience isn't going to a male based audience that cares about how "real" or "urban" the group is

their audience will be mainly teen/pre-teen females that will only care about how the group looks and whether the music appeals to their pop-centric tastes

Try dailymotion. there are other korean TV show as well thats not viewable from Germany in youtube.

As (self proclaimed) leader of the Jisook boat I feel like I must chime in to defend here...
Ji Sook is hot and far from a troll.
Also (I realize this is my opinion) but I'd take Jisook over Taeyeon any day.

Jisook has some weird angles that don't work for her. Apart from that she's very convincing looks-wise. Not my type at all but I feel that hard to argue...

And I might be the only one but I really don't see the resemblance to Taeyeon...
