But it's very hush hush. Not as much as you'd think. Korean movies and dramas that air on cable TV (with MA19 on them) have some pretty obscene stuff. A lot of them have sex scenes, and I mean A LOT. The only criticism, if at all, for the bed scene of Eunjung would be because she's an idol. | ||

Yeah, but I don't think actresses who do mild sex scenes in movies/shows are looked down upon or thought of as less pure because the public know its acting and a role. Hell, Kim Taehee did somewhat a sex scene in IRIS (or at least implied it and with her clothes off) and shes still seen as #1 woman in Korea. I'm not disagreeing with you that girls are seen as pure in Korea (in contrast to young American women having a "slut" image). I just responded to your comment because you implied that people criticize sex scenes because of the Korean mindset, at least that's what I concluded from the context of the discussion. | ||
