I mean, what's the point of guidelines if this is predominantly just a "hot Korean girls" thread. Why not have a separate "hot Korean girls" thread and leave this thread for the music? If all you're going to discuss is "whom I'd bang" anyways, making the "Kpop" absolutely irrelevant. I mean honestly, how many of you would do Jiyeon or Hyomin or whomever if they had no part in Kpop? What if their profession of choice turned out to be strippers? A good portion of the contents of this thread would probably remain intact. "Oh, here's a hot picture of my favorite Korean stripper waking up in the morning". "Here's a hot picture of my favorite Korean stripper doing her signature dance move". "Here's a ranking of my top ten hottest Korean strippers" | ||

Why bother to come in here and tell us we're doing it wrong and we should do it the way you like it? The people that sing the songs are actually part of the music, so they are relevant as well. Also I like to argue that even though the girls are indeed attractive, hardly ever stuff gets posted along the lines "these are whom I'd bang". | ||

You're welcome to try to change the thread, but the way these guys have been doing it is how these guys like to do it ^_^. Sometimes we do have discussion for a couple posts, but all text and no pics/vids/gifs makes for a sad kpop thread. Feel free to come around more and start up discussion though, I wouldn't mind hearing about boy groups and vocals and stuff more, but don't expect it to be all that. I apologize for that. This thread is actually quite diverse and is a great source for Kpop news, releases, and performances. My exposure to Kpop started before adolescence and in an era completely dominated by guy bands, so I really don't feel in tune with "liking an artist because she's hot", hence why, as a straight male, I still prefer guy bands and find girl bands to be of an overall lower quality, though a large part of that may be because male idols start training earlier. I'm just sad that a lot of regulars seem to only care about the idols' appearance, which, frankly, is probably a bit insulting to the idols too. | ||
