Whelp, If Secret and SNSD debuted with these songs I think Secret would mop the floor with SNSD. What an atrocious song. The chorus is like an auto tuned cheer? I really don't like it. Also falling rose petals, doves and matrix style camera shots really don't ad anything when done just for the sake of looking cool.
I was really hoping the teaser was just gonna be the intro that they walked out on stage to or something and then the actual song would be different. How sad.

Yeah this song is not all that good, it gets really overdone towards the end, and there is simply no chorus so all the nice build up in the solo lines amounts to nothing. But it doesn't matter. I have never disliked a song and like the performance, and the lives won't change my mind this time either. As for who wins, no ones kidding themselves. You act like everyone else's expecting a secret upset or something... The reality is that snsd winning is no big deal cause kpop fans buy the shit out of everything regardless of quality. All that snsds win with the boys will show is that gee and their older songs were good enough to generate a recurring fanbase, not that the boys is good.

After hearing the entire Album in it's entire form, The Boys sticks out like a sore thumb. Every other song sounds like what they should have used for their promotion.

That was my plan anyway...haven't liked an snsd song since gee so I wasnt expecting much from this.
why couldn't SM just stick to tried and tested methods and release good, fun, catchy songs? I feel like every other song in the album triumphs over The Boys right now, and any single one of them would have been a hit. just because Teddy Riley made it doesn't necessarily make it great. as a hardcore SONE, I am rather disappointed at this.
