Orange caramel and her variety show appearance really helped her. Her charm really doesn't come from her aegyo/cute thing but that she's from a different region of Korea (pusan not seoul) so the first thing you notice if you're korean is that she has a noticeable accent when she speaks in Korean. Another person who is also popular for this accent is Simon D from supreme team. Also add in her bold personality and you can tell why people like her. + Show Spoiler + The problem with Jooyeon is, though she is the most prettiest face in the group, and she does have this awkward, ditzy personality that's cute but shes an utter wreck in variety shows. The biggest problem is her face is not enough to get noticed. Its like she's mostly invisible and when she does come up its awkward. In the group she can't sing like Raina but she also doesn't have the unique personality like Lizzy, the dancing like Kahi, or the body of Uee. She doesn't smile that often too. But she is getting noticed where she's playing a role in a current drama/sit com right now. And when you see her you sort of get that feeling that she isn't trying hard enough. Yes someone uses spoilers for quotes! I like Jung Ah too but adding raina to the group really hurt her presence in the group since she was the main vocal before Raina. She's also like Jooyeon in that she has this invisible presence in variety shows. But she seems like a good athlete. Been doing on those athlete shows like Dream team where she made a record for the high jump. But even in that she got overshadowed by Krystal. Feel bad because koreans usually only remember the first place winners and rarely the 2nd place winners. So far whether in her group or variety shows not having that much luck. | ||

There's only a handful of female idols I can think of that are at the same level as Kahi: BoA Hyoyeon CSJH's Stephanie ... out of those, two are basically inactive, and Hyoyeon's ability really deteriorated after SNSD went daebak with Gee, from what I can tell. I'm gonna guess it's because busy schedule means she has nowhere near the same amount of time to spend practicing compared to trainee days. So with that said... it's not much of a stretch to say that Kahi's the best female dancer in kpop right now. (son dambi, minzy, hyunah, min get honourable mentions i guess, but are a tier below imo) Besides all that prattle, I just like her dancing. Even her off-the-cuff improvised stuff is face-meltingly good. | ||
