It's just... hmm. It's tough to describe, but I'd call it a nice story with a superb cast and an even better writing of little conversations. The story itself (when all's said and done) isn't particularly original but just the way it's done with the cast and the little slice of life chitchat makes you forget about it. The only problem I had was the last "route" because I hate stories to tie together using that sort of character (Ecael knows what I'm talking about) but that's more of a personal distaste than anything else. For many reasons, Ecael was probably open arms. Teehee. | ||

lol. Anyways, it was one of the best and most memorable VN that year, but therein lay the problem; it's the little conversations that were masterfully done (as is often the case with Navel) but that sort of character-building dialog rarely translates well to anime. Hence why, like S;G, we're looking forward to it, but with a lot of caution and pessimism. Edit: I guess, in a way, the major problem for both is going to be that it's the male character(s) that really draws the reader in, and so they're going to have to do some Clannad-esque miracles to make it work. | ||

Coachee's lens flare is too good. Gunbuster starts out kinda slow. But it will pick up, just wait. | ||

It has like this sick 80s synth pop soundtrack. And is kinda cheesy (but I love that). And the mecha seem pretty realistic. It turns me off when the mecha in mecha shows have like two buttons in the cockpit, and nothing else. These mecha are full of buttons and levers and shit. Edit @ Southlight: So in other words, we need KyoAni to adapt OreTsuba instead? | ||
