LoGH Clannad Welcome to the NHK Kanon (2006) Baccano!
All those are better than Death Note imo, but it's probably a good 6-8. Omg another person who loves Kanon, I thought I was the only one.
Also, no Yoshitoshi ABe anime on any of this lists is really sad You guys need to start watching his stuff.
Edit - I'm apparently the only person who thought blood+ was awful though :/

Clearly you have never watched K-ON if you say Clannad was moe overload. You are right, I've never watched K-ON and probably won't want to if its worst than clannad in the moe department. K-ON isn't just worse than Clannad...it's fucking MOE OVERLORD. But that's one of the reasons why I enjoyed it. xD Lmao i made the same spelling mistake earlier when i was asking if TL was having an overload Man, i couldn't stand K-ON after the first season. It was too much.
Thats preety good. I couldnt stand that shit and dropped that after I somehow managed to stay alive watching 2 episodes of it.
Btw anyone watching Black Lagoon OVA's ? 3rd OVA was bloody amazing. For a second I was thinking when did Roberta transformed into Alucard ?

To be honest the OVA's are kinda disappointing. I don't understand why they didn't release a regular series like the last 2 seasons. Instead they just give us an episode every 3 months ?.

Ok, Clannad would still probably make it into my top10-15 because thinking back I loved it even before I saw After Story. I thought it was just an easy going slice of life show, but if it weren't for After Story I think it would still suffer a bit.

On Episode 18 of One Piece, have a long haul ahead of me. Loving it so far, definitely excited to have a longer running anime to watch.

KIMI NI TODOKE 5 + Show Spoiler + WOWOWOWOWOWOWOOW, Man i knew this guy was just really nosy or manipulative. But he made the move on Sadako, and now Kazehaya has to respond, zzz. I feel that it might snowball into some dramatic episodes for like the next 2-3 episodes. Oh man this is exciting

What I loved about Clannad was the interactions between the characters and humor. I loved Kotomi's character.

I want to and I have the first season on harddrive but it's on the back burner as of this point.

Hi guys. It will be really hard for me to go through 683 pages so I hope it's okay to just ask a question here although it might have been repeated. But I was just mainly wondering if there are any anime's that are similar to death note cuz i really really enjoyed that anime( wished it was longer and felt like it was too short). I like the mystery part of it the most and enjoy detective conan as well but I alrdy seen all 500+ episodes of it and even re-watched 1-200 and it's hard waiting weeks and weeks before they sub another episode so I thought why not get into another anime. thx.

Yea i tried this anime but then got too distracted by the hot bunny girl at the beginning. And i dont think it's really a mystery type anime is it? I mean i know the concept is the same(death note=notebook to kill ppl while in code geass he has that red eye thing) but i liked death note for the detectve mystery part of it. You know how L thinks logically and reasons everything out to try to find out who Kira is.

That's not a good way to treat a newcomer to the thread.

I don't like it when people just watch mainstream, they're missing out on soo much. I guess Death Note is mainstream, with dub and etc.

I'm not an anime addict or anything, I just like a particular genre and like watching it in my spare time or when im eating. I realize I posted in the biggest anime thread on tl but don't just assume everyone is like you.

In related news, detective Conan or some shit for detective mystery blahdeblah. It's not just death note man. I explicitely mentioned in my post that I also enjoyed detective conan. I said I like mystery. I don't understandd what ur problem is? Death note was a really good anime. I've also seen dragon ball z and yu yu hakusho and even though these were very good anime's, mystery aniime's are my most favorite that's why I chose death note specifically since ppl seem to know that more than detective conan.
Can we plz not critisize what anime i choose to watch becuz it's my own personal preference? All I wanted to know was if there were any anime's like death note, that's it.

Hmmmm the only mystery anime I can think of off the top of my head is Monster. It's more of a psychological thriller than action type mystery.
