I guess you could try to justify it by saying she's so overpowered that she doesn't need an incantation, but nobody else in the series seems to use one either. I guess everyone's more or less a super elite anyway.
Pretty nice battle. I'm still kinda amazed that Yang could hold off the entire Imperial fleet. And whatever happened to Mecklinger? Is he still hanging out at the end of the corridor?
This picture is great when taken out of context. Everyone's dead! :O Oh well.
Kircheis still advising Reinhard. And Hilda's still no match for a ghost. I will say though, I really didn't expect peace talks at this point in the show.
lol, Julian's such a player.
WHAT THE FUCK.
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
Who's supposed to be my favorite character now...
No, you need to watch Star Driver. It's seriously the best show out there right now. I explode with every episode. The only other series that has made me do that this season is Level E, but Star Driver makes me explode even. fucking. more.
Watch it. I'm currently on the high that is Star Driver episode 18. Oh god so much awesomeeeeeee.

*cough* Madoka.
Sorry, I have some issues with my respiratory system.
Edit: Man, the A's animators must have something against Bardiche. He's already been broken into a million pieces twice : /
@Ferrose: Raising Heart was redesigned in the movie. There was a lot of debate over whether the addition of a trigger was good or bad. New mage girl is Vita I assume? Anyway, Signum > Vita (Incidentally, maybe she's the reason I like Lightning in FFXIII. The similarities are uncanny). Are you caught up to LoGH 82 yet? We need to talk about this.
I haven't read much of the Hourou Musuko manga, but I do think that the anime is pretty good. The relationships between the characters are horribly complex, but it's done so well that it works.
Beelzebub I thought was kinda meh. Electrocution joke overuse.

Heh, no. I'm gonna catch up tomorrow probably (the Super Bowl is tonight). I will post my thoughts on MAL when I do.

The death of Yang Wenli really caught me offguard for instance when i was more or less sure he would be saved (by Julian most likely). I kinda refused to believe it and even thought it was Julian having a nightmare or something. But then I think it was Attenborough who said "this isn't a third rate anime, the dead don't come back", I laughed.
Anyway yeah, I realllly enjoyed watching it and even if it's kinda long, it's NEVER boring. One of the best animes I've ever watched.
The part where Yang died took me entirely by surprise. It was easily the saddest thing in any anime ever. I've never seen Clannad: After Story, but people claim that one is sad... But there is no way that can even come close. Watching Yang bleed to death was like watching a long time friend die. We saw him rise through the ranks, we saw his victories, we saw his love for Jessica, we saw him try to raise Julian as best he could, we really felt for him when Jessica died. We were with him all during his struggles against the Alliance Government. We even attended his wedding. And finally, after many hard fought battles, Yang finally achieves what he set out for, a chance for peace. And then... He dies... Our friend for 82 episodes that we had all come to like and relate to, was gone. No anime even comes close to the emotion from that event.
About the Nanoha stuff: I like Vita better than Signum. Its a simple question of "which do you like more, the Goldion Hammer or Lamia Loveless?" Clearly the Goldion Hammer is superior.
Ahhh what an amazing episode of Star Driver. I would've never started watching this if my friend hadn't been obsessing over it, but damn it's so fabulous. Almost too fabulous, but fabulous nonetheless.

It didn't help that his death was done in pretty much the worst way possible. There was no glorious battle as there was with Bucock, Fahrenheit, or Steinmetz. There was no passing of the torch. He was just shot by some random mook and bled to death, all alone.
Bloody Yang.

More like do you prefer women or loli. Right? Right?
Kore wa Zombie is fine. Random humor != fabulousness. They're two different things!
Maybe I'll give Star Driver a second chance when it finishes, but I'll probably be swamped with shows when the new season arrives. It doesn't help that LoGH + OVAs will probably take another five weeks or so.

A great man met a tragic end. No one is immune Saddest scene ever. After Yang died, I just was completely lost. The entire story up to that point had been a contest between Reinhard and Yang, and then one of them died.
Also, I TOLD you people that Fork was the most despicable person in this entire show! He shows up, tries to kill Yang, and you are like "NO FUCK YOU FORK!", and then his ship is destroyed and you breath a sigh of relief. And then... It was a trap. It was all Fork's fault. Fuck that guy.
Nanoha: Women or lolis? This show has those? I thought Signum vs Vita is something more like:
Gonna combo break the discussion and say the new onii-chan episode is out. + Show Spoiler +
i can't get over the art, i don't really find it that good. Like he you turn off your brain them its not that bad. Probably because im the only one who hates the sister. It should be the brother and the blonde chick

Plus the badass, German-speaking hammer. Goldion Hammer.

IE: Norio wakamoto will more than likely be the villain(though he's been cast as a gag/mascot character multiple times with huge success Rie Kugimiya will more than likely be a tsundere female love interest, Daisuke Ono will more than likely be a headstrong protagonist
These kind of archetypes while they obviously fit those roles(or else they wouldn't have been casted in the first place) kind of spoil the story : ((
And Noto Mamiko will probably be a shy girl who doesn't talk much
Well the better ones like Noto Mamiko isn't quite confined to such roles, others like Sawashiro Miyuki, Sakamoto Maaya and Mizuhashi Kaori also have a really wide range of roles. Ono Daisuke isn't too limited to protagonists too iirc, I mean, Koizumi?
Thats true my favorite out of the character's he's played is Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma, who wasn't EXACTLY headstrong but he definitely had his moments, also Koizumi is what I would call is acceptable and amazing deference from the norm. Like when Tomokazu sugita isn't playing the 'straight man' character with punch lines/tsukkomi and has a 'legitimate role'
