In this week's episode, apparently the reason why Ayanokoji says "This will do" at the end is because he was always going to wait an hour to save her so he could use her guilt of outting him to keep her under control. He legitimately didn't expect her to NOT out him, but still ended up with his desired outcome, hence why it will do | ||

I agree that would have been good to have included, but it didn't take away from what the episode set out to accomplish in my opinion. While I said CotE is top this season, that's mostly based on that last episode. There was a lot of things that, like you brought up, didn't work. So taking that last episode away, I'd probably put my list Edgerunners Lycoris Recoil Rental Girlfriend Yakuza Cuckoos Classroom of the Elite Fuuto | ||

For me my top 5 this season season has been Yakuza/Lycoris Lycoris/Yakuza Super Star Season 2 Call of the Night Ayumu On the other side of the spectrum, wow did Engage Kiss fall off the fucking rails this season. I saw a trailer for the video game the show was supposed to lead into that premiered after the season finale and I'm just let wondering...why? | ||

I'm probably going to finish Lycoris tonight, really cute show, it's been really entertaining to see Hideo Kojima shilling the hell out of it lately. I'm in the middle of Soul Eater. I know that like, it goes off and diverges from the manga at a certain point, should I drop it after I reach the point or is the anime-only stuff still worth watching? | ||

If you enjoy the main characters and the action I think you can just watch it until the end. I haven't read the manga but I have a hard time believing it redeems any of the show's flaws in a meaningful manner. | ||
