The music is just whatever for me and the animation is forgetable if we can even call it animation. Just some basic "person walking in front of (unanimated) background", perhaps similar to the Madoka ED for people who watched that but it was just such a nice touch on things. + Show Spoiler + So the background in the first 30 seconds of the ED are all people close to Gilgamesh who died + Show Spoiler + or will die I guess in the case of Siduri? If there's one thing that I regret people are missing out on for skipping this because they never played the game it has to be that they miss out on seeing Gilgamesh being such a great guy in this "timeline". Everyone knows him as the antagonist in his archer form from other fate works so seeing him as a caster, who saw what's going to happen to humanity and thus tries to defend it is such a good spin on things. He's still the same person in a lot of ways. The way he talks and acts is still just Gilgamesh, just that he's a good guy. I say this as a Gil fan myself, always thought he's a great character. No matter if evil or good but yeah, really liked those visuals for the ED.

Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! had an amazing first episode; got me hooked all the way through. Apparently it's based on an award-winning manga, and the director did Tatami Galaxy and Devilman Crybaby, so this show will have a lot of potential this season. The characters have fun chemistry and personality, the animation and multiple art styles are amazing, and the show exudes a genuine passion for the imaginative potential of anime in general.

On another note, there are so many sequels this year. We have Mahouka, World Trigger, Neverland, Kingdom, 5-toubun no Hanayome, ReZero, DanMachi, Dr. Stone, Fruit Basket, Quanzhi Gaoshou, Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken and more! Has there ever been this many potentially good sequels airing in any previous years? Most of these are for next season or the one after so it's gonna be great! :D

Hey if everybody watched Machikado Mazoku, it would hardly be the best thing that nobody watched would it? That said the first few minutes do rely a bit on 4-koma style slapstick a bit before developing the characters more. There's quite a few interesting tidbits and animations even for people who don't like cute girls.

as far as pure enjoyment of watching, no anime has ever been as consistent for me as my hero is

I could have sworn I posted the trailer a few weeks ago in this thread when I found out about the show and was pretty hyped. Apparently I didn't though... The first episode was super good. Pretty much what I was hoping for.

Wish the same could be said for 7DS. Please don't mention 7DS. There were so many things to look forward to, and it just... fell flat.

I think Season 1 was ok but Meliodas just seems so unlikable. The random skirt flips didn't help his likability. The manga's gotten worse, but there was still some really cool stuff to look forward to. The anime, however, has basically made all of it painful.

MHA could have gone further with the animation and action scene for sure. I will agree with that. But it was still pretty damn hype. Not KnY Ep 19-21 hype. But it was satisfying.

For how much build up there was in Deku unleashing 100% i felt they didn't do as much with it as they could have. I agree that they could've done more and I wasn't personally hyped for the fight because it felt like the actual fight was TinTin vs Overhaul, but it wasn't all that bad when you consider how they approached it. What were you expecting for the fight? I don't recall if I read up to this point in the manga or not so can't say if the fight was better there.
