I watch a decent amount of anime but I wouldn't say I have a favorite animation studio. At the same time, KyoAni has released a lot of series I've enjoyed over the past few years, including Violet Evergarden, Hyouka, and Koe no Katachi. Waking up this morning to read about so many deaths at KyoAni was rather surreal. I imagine many of those people who work at KyoAni do so for the enjoyment of anime fans everywhere. It's my hope that those affected are able to overcome this ordeal.

Enen no Shouboutai (the fireman anime airing this season) cancelled airing their 3rd episode, and will suspend the show until further notice following the Kyoani situation.

In a heartbreaking interview with the Japanese media on Friday, Kyoto Animation President Hideaki Hatta has confirmed that all of the studio’s past animation materials and computers were destroyed in the fire that engulfed KyoAni’s 1st Studio building Thursday morning. When asked of the total amount of damage, Hatta replied to the media: “The [monetary] amount of damage? Extreme. I don’t know the full details.”

Hey, Toad. U downs to watch some anime? I’ve been out of the loop for a while—only recently I decided to finish Nanatsu no Taizai and it was pretty gud. Not sure whats good this season. I don’t even know how far along this season has gotten.

i haven't really watched a lot of anime this season or the last one. Only thing I'm watching so far is DanMachi season2 if you want to watch that?
Other than that i checked out the milf isekai which might be totally your thing because Kayano Ai but it's super cringe for me. I just can't help but start thinking about my own mom and it turns all kinds of wrong

How far is DanMachi S2? I’m downs to watch that. I’m avail anytime after 3pm Hawaii time weekdays.

think it airs saturdays? I just saw ep2 is out and haven't watched it yet. Only up to ep1. But 3pm Hawaii time is 3am my time 
what about weekends or later in the day so that I wake up to watch it?

Whenever u wake up is fine. I don’t usually sleep till 11pm (11am) ur time.
Also, if it airs Saturday I have all day to watch it. Depending when it gets subbed etc.

it's out 10:30 PDT on saturdays. So if you're okay with 11 PDT or 11:30 PDT (whatever that is in hawaii time) I could do that or whatever else is fine with you on saturdays. Staying up shouldn't be an issue either for me that way
except for maybe today... it's already 2am if I start something now it probably won't be until 3am or worse. So if you're okay with it I won't watch more for now and next saturday we watch either episode 2+3 or 1+2+3?

Kimetsu No Yaiba had an amazing episode today. I'm following the manga and this shit only gets better. You think the demon waifu had a sad backstory? Man. Wait. Easily best new anime this year by far. Barely surpasses that culture titan that is Miru Tights.

I'm really out of the loop but just finished Stein's Gate Zero and imo it's just as good as the original. Can't believe it got bad reviews, glad I still picked it up.

I think the original Steins;gate benefited from having a more straightforward story, so the plot and pacing felt more elegant. The Steins;Gate 0 VN had two major, diverging plot lines that both contributed to the true ending, so it was going to be more difficult for an anime to adapt that into a linear story. I still really enjoyed S;G0 as it was airing, but I still found the original to be more elegant and impactful.

Only anime I've dropped this season is Granbelm after 1 ep. I didn't feel the urge to click and watch it. There are a handful of anime still going strong though, so maybe this isn't the worst season yet.

This latest episode of Dr. Stone was odd. + Show Spoiler +This is in regards to Tsukasa. He managed to deduce exactly what Senkuu and co were doing from what he saw. I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that he has great strength and a sound mind, but give me a break! He knows that the chemical in the bat cave is nitric acid? fine, whatever then he figures that the broken stuff in the house were purposely done and on top of that, he figures out that they are going to create a weapon to kill him AND he figured out it's from Hakone AND that they are going to make a gun wtf. Please...
Latest episode of DanMachi delivered once again. + Show Spoiler +The chase was great. I'm excited to see the war game animated.
Finally, Arifureta is finally on track and steadily improving. Anyone else watching this?

Cop Craft is a nice surprise, really solid 3 episodes so far. Dr. Stone sadly isnt getting better, the last episode was meh.
