not sure if it's such much of a pity since I like him the way he is. Always have from the beginning so this episode giving a glimpse of that other side of him is really nice for me but I prefer his usual character. No matter how awesome he is when he gets serious.

my take on it was pretty much this:
Toad - Today at 12:11 AM lol just watched ep20 of darling in the franxx I don't want to say this came out of nowhere... but that was a bit much for me lol
so yeah, def see why people got angry about the episode. It's just way too much cramped into one episode to make for the finale they're aiming for. It doesn't even feel that out of place since there's so much hinting at something like that going on but it just made it seem ridiculous with how much time the show took for itself to hammer out some of the less important (at least if you compare it to ep20) parts of it. Btw my idea was that Papa + Show Spoiler [wrong speculation] +
was some kind of super-AI that became intelligent enough to win vs humans, they then created artificial bodies for themselves and the dinos are just some evolution of the "normal" humans

. I mean, everything felt kind of explained: humans find new source of energy. This new source of energy are protected by underground mecha dinosaurs, which are pissed off. Also, this source of energy is linked (for some bizarre reason) with a cure for immortality, which is linked with both removal of both sexual and reproductive urges, which are the main themes of the show. Done. Except now you have + Show Spoiler +

aliens in the mix
.
yeah as mentioned, that wasn't what I thought would happen either. But what I wanted to say with the "I don't want to say this came out of nowhere..." part was more along the lines that we did know + Show Spoiler +
it's going to get crazy in some way. There's no way Papa would end up being just normal old people who got too full of themselves or something like that with all the buildup and maskes and never letting people know who they are and all. So yeah, I didn't expect aliens either but some weird shit was bound to happen, right?

If you have seen TTGL and KLK you wouldn't be that surprised.

Finished watching Majestic Prince. Was a good watch and the CGI was well done. Turned out it was Orange so not surprising I guess. I do have two complaints though: + Show Spoiler +
The ending was dramatic but no one died? seriously? At least kill off the commander or the princess and her loyal guard? Did that blast really do nothing to her? It's just so hard to believe. I kept thinking that at least someone will die. Heck, I figured that Izuku will likely die due to how much he was exerting himself but nothing?
Same goes for how the Waguldi king just went, oh we found a new evolutionary method. Ok, that's it, let's just pack up and forget about hunting. I realize they do things for themselves but his brother died, he lost several commanders and that's it? No retaliation or anything?
Other thing and this isn't a big deal since there was no tag for it but a little more umm romance in the anime would've helped greatly. They made Tamaki a dense person and killed off Patrick then made her feel sad for him? Well, maybe as a friend, sure but no way as a lover. I would've liked to see Izuku and Kei get a little closer. Just a single episode where they did something together would've been enough imo.
So I guess we know where LoGH is going to end now. It feels like a bit of a weird place to finish, but I suppose they don't have much of a choice given their time constraints.

I don't see what the big deal is with not killing off characters. Killing off people just for the sake of it doesn't make for better storytelling. Randy and Patrick dying actually had relevance, but what would killing Teoira's butler accomplish? As far as Izuru, hes in pretty fucked up condition, just because he isn't actually dead doesn't mean hes fine.
The Wulgaru are weird, but your conclusion about them packing up and forgetting about the hunt at the end is wrong. I won't say more because there is a movie that continues the story a bit.
best virtual youtuber! And it's in english so you can understand it as well. Since her twitter blew up like crazy the management basicly told her that they don't care what she's doing but it's working and she can do whatever (or I guess that's the reason behind it).
So pretty damn hilarious. Only video out there but man that's some good stuff
