Even with adblocker there's still advertisement in the form of who they're partnered with and it's just annoying, luckily taiga helped me avoid 99.9% of the shit i dislike about MAL but with the API breaking it was just a good time to move my shit elsewhere There's better alternatives and i'd be completely fine with it disappearing, but it's not something i actively hope for | ||

Everytime I meet an anime fan in real life, they don't watch seasonal anime and if they do, it's prob a meme show like konosuba or one punch man or my hero academia and not even on a weekly basis. Where can I find people that watched houseki no Kuni instead. | ||

I also use adblock there and I've never really noticed much of these ads you are talking about. Maybe it's because as mentioned, I mostly checked my list and some shows quickly before leaving. Basically, none of their ads really bother me, even if I notice them. Which makes it sound less rosy because it basicly sounds like someone saying "this is what you watch because everyone says it's good. - Why does everyone say it's good? - Well, because everyone ELSE said it's good" like some massive hypetrain that people ride "because he said she said" Not trying to trash on classics or anything but I don't mind people being able to make up their own mind because they can just watch whatever. But I def agree with some of what Gigguk said in that video. Anime is a lot about being able to talk with people about it nowdays. At least for me (hence spamming in here). I think I enjoy that part of it more than most anime itself and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Also, voices > anime anyways, so it's basicly a glorified add for a radioshow for me in the most cases~ | ||
