Started Tytania recently. Not a bad watch so far though I wish there were more battles. Space battles are always great to watch. Will be interesting to see how this develops.

Really liked how they explained how the battles took place and emphasized just how big they were (aka, we're talking 100k+ people at times). Would highly recommend for anyone who's into that kind of stuff. Started Tytania recently. Not a bad watch so far though I wish there were more battles. Space battles are always great to watch. The manga is still ongoing and should keep going a few more years judging from where they are in the plot and what the overall stated goal is.

I liked the idea they had. Show the big battles with major armies. Doing it with a Total War mod would likely have resulted in higher quality for lower cost (if they were allowed to do it).

+ Show Spoiler + great episode today liked the whole backstory and how struggle it was for both ange and charlotte. Illiterate girl who never touched the piano learned 9 languages and became one of the best pianist in the nation. And she thought that the real charlotte died too when she fell. I think rewatching episode 2 after episode 8 is a pretty cool experience since you know so much now and it makes it better than it originally was which was already pretty good. knights and magic + Show Spoiler + pretty cool with some cool fights here and there and ernesti's robot was really cool. Looks like it was animated by orange too. Time for him to make some anti-flying ship weapons or he'll make his own flying ship maybe. Either way, i like how this whole show is basically our little trap making cool robot shit and mostly focuses on the mechs, their design, and impact Fate/apocrpyha sumanai. not much moedred or jeanne kind of feels like battle scenes are a tease tho. They like to show you small highlights and then everybody just leaves. lul also pretty cool nasu interview on ikuhara's works. https://wakameparadise.wordpress.com/2017/08/20/nasu-ikuhara/

yep Tytania. Best space opera I've watched so far. On August 27 2017 20:45 Numy wrote: Only part I really disliked was the animation quality. It felt like it got better as the series went on to the point where I didn't even notice it much. Seeing as the story rocks and the characters are great, they were easily able to help me overlook the quality.

The author tried to recapture the magic he had when he wrote LOGH, but doesn't really succeed. There was lots of hype around it when it first came out due to it being the same author, followed by lots of disappointment.

I was more interested in the story and the animation became easier on the eyes? Not sure what answer you're expecting tbh. I've watched Knights of Sidonia which arguably has worse animation (characters) and enjoyed it tremendously. As long as the animation is not brutal, I'm able to watch most anime which have "subpar" animation. I would say everything after I dunno, episode 7 or so of the first season gave me no issues. Given, I can't expect other people to put up with it but it was by no means detrimental to my enjoyment.

L's performance was so lackluster. Dafoe was great, but i knew that already. Needed more screen time.
