Already completed it, was looking through the stuff Tomino worked on and was surprised when I saw Garzey's wing there. I heard lots of people say it's the epitome of so bad it's good (esp. the dub) so I checked it out. They were right, WTF Tomino. Still one thing. + Show Spoiler + What a suprise with ending of Tsubasa Tiger arc. That question totally got me damn. The response wasnt really that bad. But for sure would put me in shitty spot, would propably say to stay close but with a clear line in between (douche%?):C Hanekawa for best girl! Cannot wait to see whats going to happen onwards. (even tho the HS released them in 10bit my phone plays em without much problems thanks to non action heavy presentation (ep 5 explanation was done in best way possible with those transitions). | ||

The source of drama will inevitably be those German intelligence guys (if that's what they're supposed to be) making an attempt to kill/kidnap Fine and/or Izetta. I'm not convinced that they can pull this off in a way that doesn't feel like total bullshit. Speaking of Fine, she's the next in a long line of strong, determined women who have seemingly no other aspects to their personality. She's basically a copy of the princess in Kabaneri. It's not even that I dislike these character traits. All I ask for is some depth. Who gives a super long speech via morse code? Nobody's got time for that. I assume the anthem scene is supposed to be uplifting, but it was more cheesy than anything else. It reminded me of the hilarious engrish of the FPA anthem in LoGH. Amusingly enough, it's still poised to be a better Strike Witches sequel than Brave Witches. Watched Flip Flappers ep 1. Nice animation, but the way they presented the story was almost impressively boring. They might have one of the better op sequences of this season though. Fune wo Amu was okay. The MC's personality seems a little too... convenient? I think that's my only qualm thus far though. They also animated a camera pan for some reason. It was well done, but it was weird, because it's an awful lot of effort for very little gain. Finished Slam Dunk. It was alright, but it really didn't need to be 101 episodes long... | ||
