The weird shit at the end was what I disliked about the show!  Mostly because I was promised The Count of Monte Cristo, and Count suddenly wasn't the Count.

I found a short manga called Sabishisugite Lesbian Fuuzoku ni Ikimashita Report, it's actually really depressing, I recommend it to see how some people are with mental issues and how it affects them

Well, Albert is an idiot. The rest is pretty ok'ish. I like the Count and Peppo so far.

I've got to say for me Girlish number ended up being the one I'm looking forward to the most so far.
The cynism is nice, her reactions are gold + Show Spoiler +like when she hears that the source is a LN and not manga, or when she's talking with the blond girl and she's like "that little brat"
Also, Ferrose who I got into watching it as well said he checked out the Manga after the fact (it only has like 5 chapters, so this is going to be mostly anime original I'd assusme?) and said it's written by Wataru, the guy who wrote Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru if you liked that

Yea, it is oregairu author. I thought ive been saying that for a while now lol.
The novel is a bunch of prequel side stories. It's a mix media project(like YuYuYu) so the anime is original and also written by Watari.

do you know wether CR picking it up means we'll get ep1 + ep2 on CR today or will it just be ep1 and everything basicly 1 week delayed?
it's not for Germany but not having to go for memesubs would be nice
///edit, nvm. announcement sounds like CR will start streaming it in a bit less than 8 hours and ep2 isn't out for another 30 hours. So probably ep1 in 8 and ep2 whenever

Yuri on Ice ep2. Felt a little better than ep1. I even liked some of the comedy, some other was whatever, which is already an improvement compared to ep1. They still had quite a lot of scenes I disliked heavily. I don't understand why they would go through the effort and create a certain mood, be it sad, serious or some other emotional theme, to then destroy it by suddenly crashing into a wall with their comedy attempt. Reminds me very much of Shigatsu when they had these great emotional scenes, music, conversation, expressions - everything was just right. And then she would kick him or something out of nothing. It's the same here, just with stupid jokes that aren't funny at all.

I'll second this and add that I'm starting to really like Victor for more than his stunning beauty. I think it would have been cool to have Victor and the Russian Yuri speak in Russian when appropriate

The only show I can think of that has any meaningful Russian is GuP. Heck, one of the VAs in the movie was a bilingual Russian.
Yuri ep 2 was decent. Standard sports anime fare. Viktor's pretty entertaining. The actual skating animation is still really good. The op sequence was almost interesting, but it didn't build up to anything and I'm pretty sure they reused a bunch of the animations. I do like what they did with the ed though.
I thought the drama was easily the worst part of Eupho s1, and that hasn't changed for s2. It doesn't help that the source of the drama is identical to s1 - the same old second year shit.
Natsume ep 2 was pretty good. That's not too surprising, considering that they've been nailing these kinds of episodic stories for four seasons. It's the Natsume-centric stuff they need to work on...

Yeah, feels like it. On MAL the score of it is climbing and climbing. 8.15 for a short is the highest I've seen. Now I know that's not a sign of quality, but I personally agree it deserves such a high score. I know you dropped it, and I also agree not all episodes are great, but it lately brings a good laugh every day.

Yeah, usually shows climb up with every new episode because there are more and more negative ratings that drop out because they don't comply the "20 % of all episodes watched" ruling. I would personally say there are probably better shorts out there but yeah, not many.
I also didn't think it was bad. It just didn't hit any "humour-nerve" (lol) for me so it was just too boring to follow it everyday.
