New Game!
+ Show Spoiler +Had to pause at the end when the ED started to make sure there's still one more episode to this but overall pretty good episode. There was still plenty of Nennechi but was a lot less annoying this time around. That cosplay. All the Ko x Rin yuri. Looking forward to last episode but I honestly would have expected it to end on a note like this. I guess last episode is just going to be slice of life pandering? Also I like how we always talk about there not being any men in New Game! universe and the entire crowd of people watching hifumin was girls. I'm fairly sure I spotted some in the background when they went shopping for the pen though

Huh? There are a lot of SoL shows that aren't this way. Then there is lots of stuff like K-ON where you know what kinds of episodes are going to happen, you just don't know in which order. Sometimes the same theme even comes twice, lel.

the term "slice of life pandering" was meant to be emphasized on the pandering, not on the slice of life. I'm perfectly aware that it's a slice of life show with basicly cute girls doing cute things like K-ON or whatever else, I'm just saying that I somehow expect them the ramp up the pandering with the last episode due to the ending of this episode. Obviously not as extreme as marriage between Ko and Rin but who knows what they have in store for last episode.
+ Show Spoiler +I do hope it's not the "beginning of a new cycle" though. Maybe if it's reeeeally short at the end but usually not a fan of that for something that I don't expect to ever get a season2

Surprised some of you guys seem to put so much faith in reviews. I think I've only ever read 2-3 reviews at best and that's skimming them because I was curious to see why such a highly rated show on MAL (ratings mostly mean it's liked but w/e) was scored poorly by some reviewer.

wow lol. cmon, it just got boring around the midway mark. I watched most of the first half in a couple of days then I found myself a bit bored and was also playing more BW at the time for DRTL (TvP practice, go figure ;; ) and well, never got back into it. Some of the fights were pretty cool, world was somewhat interesting and there were some emotional moments but ya, it's on hold atm.

It's debatable what's "really good". Me and a lot of people here like ReZero (which is still airing for one more episode) a lot for example, while a couple others don't think it's good. I can second One Punch Man and Haikyuu at the very least. Mob Psycho is not as good as OPM imo, but still good.

Fall 15 was decent. At least it offered some good comedy with OPM and Osomatsu-san.
This year, I haven't watched a single show where I felt like "wow, this is really good". Thinking about it, maybe Rakugo. That show was really well done, I just didn't enjoy it as much. Then I have watched a handful of enjoyable/good show, namely: Durarara!!x2 Ketsu (Durarara is always solid), Boku Dake, Sakamoto, Joker Game and Shirayuki (kind of). Tons of ok'ish shows but nothing I would recommend right away.
