Dr. Kureha looks like she would be 70, not 150. And the teacher from Index is clearly and obviously prepubescent. To keep the One Piece examples going, you have Robin, who is in her 30s, and yet looks like shes 21 or something (and has been looking younger and younger as the series goes farther in). Or Shakky, who is like Rayleigh's age, yet looks to be in her 20s. All Lolis! Apparently!

I'm merely discarding the older definition of any young girl and including the intent of the creators when they make a character, so when they draw someone to purposely look like a young girl but they are a late teen or an adult that to me is a loli. Everyone else is just a girl in the show. Edit: Note in my definition I specifically said to look like sub 13 years old so your examples are ridiculous. Btw I don't get what you mean about Robin. She clearly looks older in the way Oda draws her in comparison to the late teens/early 20s crew members. Especially post-time skip she definitely looks her age.

If you are 12 you are a child not a loli. You can say someone who likes little girls is a pedophile or a lolicon but young girls are just that...girls. Its true that the origin of the word means young girls but with the expansion of the loli concept in anime you can say that the older term is a bit outdated. Now they have to add in descriptors to specify (IE True loli). I always held this as the definition of loli. Interesting to see that it has a different older one lol

Old people certainly don't look like a 20 year old, just with a wrinkly face, thats for sure. Robin is in her 30s, and her age is completely indistinguishable from Nami, who is just a little older than half her age. And then Shakky is another 60 year old who looks like shes 20. The fact that you admit there are descriptors to the term loli like "True Loli" and "Legal Loli" only go further to prove the point of what one is. As in, a True Loli=prepubescent girl. Legal loli=older girl who looks like a prepubescent girl. Lolicon=someone who has a complex on prepubescent girls. Plus, the term isn't outdated, it was anime in the first place that has popularized and established what the actual definition is.

Anime didn't establish the concept. You already showed where it came from and anime just picked up on it and expanded it since it became such a thing. I never claimed that my definition is what everyone uses, the previous multiple debates about what is a loli is proof of that.

Nah, it's more the other way around. As in they look older than they are. Never seen a girl in their 20s that looks like 14 lol.

They can probably tell the difference while western people are accustomed to western looks, so the asian ones look younger to us? That's only speculation of course. It's called the Asian gene jokingly for a reason, among other Asian stereotypes. Even a pretty popular joke picture about it. + Show Spoiler + http://www.geekinheels.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/average_asian_woman_aging.jpg Karen is really athletic... that's all.
