They were living outside Fenrir with no protection other than trying to avoid tipping the Aragami off to their location so sooner or later, all of them would've ended up dying. Episode was nice and a bit sad overall. At least we got the background on Lenka but it would've been much nicer if at least the sister survived. Given, her end was foretold considering her lack of introduction back when the series started.

Also, wish they would let Chika try and at least fight some more. I mean, Chika, bail out asap! What's the harm in having her try and fire a couple more shots even if she can't hit/doesn't score any points. She's already planning to bail out so why not have her fight to the end regardless?

Can't really blame Osamu for being hit. That's one crazy shot by Azuma that I think it would've probably taken down anyone else that was also not aware of the possibility. Interested to see how it all ends and what kind of decision Osamu makes in the next episode!

Well overall i liked the yang fleet and its characters but i have to say anytime Reinhard took the scene it always got about 20 times more interesting, in general it felt like the scenes following Reinhard and his side of things were just more interesting than what was happening on the side of Yang and friends. For example when Yang died my #1 interest was how Reinhard would react to the news.
And the scene with reinhard on his death bed where he asked Mittermeyer to bring his son and wife was honestly beautiful, in general i felt that his death was sad but ultimately beautiful, he had achieved what he dreamed of and created a vastly better world than what existed before him. His life burned brightly, even if only shortly(I especially liked that Hildegard said: "The Kaiser didn’t die of illness; he passed away having used up all of his lifetime. He didn’t fall from illness.")

Definitely Reinhard, Mittermeyer, Hildegard, Muller and to some degree Yang, while i didn't find Yang on his own to be incredibly interesting as a character, i did feel that he was a great character for the story and an amazing rival.
Reinhard was however definitely my #1 favourite character.

More talking and Hal getting played with by his teacher ka ka.

At least it looks like they'll face death spots before the anime concludes so Mary will be able to move on and it'll be a decent place to end. I feel like Hal might see that brilliant light and end up saving everyone. Mary will definitely play some role as well but might go numb or out of control when they first face him.

Good Grimgar ep. Mary racking up some mad points with all this screen time--almost not fair to Yume.

I would also LOVE to pay 40 silver to be accosted by megane sensei. So hawt.

Anyways the preview of the mines was cool. I had a surreal feeling when they showed what the mines looked like. I really feel immersed in the setting of this show right now.
