they botched a specific scene. Right after Shampoo makes her entrance and is all over Ranma, Akane starts smacking around a "ranma doll" but then after smacking it and making it fly, she starts to think about things and recall a scene where Ranma tells his competitor in a martial arts ice skating competition that she's his fiancee and if he lays a finger on her, he's dead. Problem is, that scene doesn't happen until 5 episodes later so personally, I think it's a big terrible mistake to not realize that was the case. I had to look through all the previous episodes because I thought I missed something lol.

Also, seems like Shampoo was supposed to come after that martial arts skating competition but for whatever reason, they made her come before so ya, big messup and in a way, it makes that scene recollection much less powerful than it could've been >< Having said that, overall, it's been very funny and I'm hoping that Shampoo comes back despite her exit after he tells her his secret.
