I just watched Madoka Movie #2. Great stuff. It was good to re-watch the events from the original anime. Although my memory is hazy, the ending of the movie looked different from the anime. I'm guessing the third movie is all original content?

Hell, I don't see that Macross Delta anime on the chart sites, so idk if it counts and if it just was a special or whatever.

I liked the theme this time around. A first-world society exporting their ideologies to a third-world country by imbalancing regional factions? It's a relevant topic these days. Too bad they didn't explore this idea in any appreciable way. A lot of the choices made in this movie really bother me. For instance, I don't really know what the point of the commando team was. I think there was a total of one scene where the boss bounced philosophies off of Kougami. Other than that, it felt like their only purpose was to give the animators an excuse to draw more fights. Speaking of Kougami, his inclusion in the movie was pure fanservice. He's basically there to egg on the shippers. I also wonder how he became a military prodigy. Then again, it seems like Enforcers are all competent spec ops soldiers for whatever reason, so I guess that's the next logical step? At least it was better than that trainwreck of a second season. Meh/10

I have a question though regarding Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin: What is this about? A re-telling of the original story? no it's a prequel establishing how Char becomes Char

Meh/10 The movie was awkward indeed. Felt like cashing on the 2 seasons -_- Still, psycho pass movie is better than no psychopass ![]()

I have a question though regarding Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin: What is this about? A re-telling of the original story? The Manga is. The OVA series is not. The OVA is just covering select volumes from the manga that cover the backstories of various important characters from the series. Its also worth noting that the Origin is an "Alternate Continuity". Most of what happens in The Origin is definitely prequel material, but other stuff just simply contradicts the setting and some of the basic premises that the original timeline operates on. Its a "special", but its the same sort of episode 1 "special" that Macross Frontier did as well. An early airing of episode 1, that might have a few super minor changes from the broadcast version.
